Had 173 to middle of the green on a longish par 4. A nasty right to left wind with a bunker in front of the green and a gulch to the left gave me a touchy approach shot to a pin that was tucked into the left edge of the green.

Played an extra 2 clubs (5i) and aimed about 45-50 yards right of the green. Hit a high hook that, toward the end of its flight, was flying straight left.

Landed on the green and stopped about 15-20 feet away from the pin. Easy 2 putt for par on a devilish hole.

Anything you want these i20's to do, they are gonna do it. Lovin' em'!

Played our local country club with a friend who is a member. The course is roughly 6,800 yards and while there were some decent shots, my best "shot" was anytime I had my driver in hand. Since it plays so long I hit driver on 13 holes and hit 11 fairways with the big stick. Long drive caught a hill and went about 290. Very, very encouraging!

Nothing spectacular. My best was a hybrid from around 200 yards to reach a par 5 in two that I didn't choke on. The not choking part was really cool. I can count how many par 5's I've reached in two on one hand.

2d hole of a playoff, playing the 10th. I'd hooked it deep into the trees. I proceeded to hook a wedge about 155 yards to 10 feet from the pin. Oh, wait, no, that was Bubba Watson.

For me, it was actually a 20 yard pitch shot with very little green to work with, managed to get it to stop on the second bounce. Maybe not a huge shot, but its a small victory in improving my game.

Par 5 - 540 yards ish. Dog leg right. Trees and ugly grounds on the right, lake on the left. Large bunker on the right 270 yards from the tee.
I usually draw but this drive was right. I was in the deep trees and the crap on the ground all over the place. At this moment I knew that Par is a good score. I got to my ball, and the only shot was to lay up to the fairway with a wedge or hit a punch fade/slice almost 90 degrees right. If you can't fade or purposely slice, you will be in the lakes just 60 yards out. I normally layup on cases like this but I had drank a lot of energy drinks before (hahaha not a good idea for my health) and went for it.
I grabbed a 4 iron, open my stance like Craig Counsell (baseball reference anyone), aimed towards the lake and hope that I cut enough to slice 140 yards out. Prayed to the Gods of Golf for a few seconds, took a deep breathe and cut swung. I landed dead center of the fairway with only 140 to the cup. Hit a 9 iron 20 feet from the hole. Grabbed my new SeeMore putter, made the best stroke of my putting career and sunk a birdie.
This was just 4 days ago. I love golf!

Hard to pick one b/c one gave a great result, but the other was more impressive to me. 1) 45 foot putt from a foot in the rough that went in the cup for birdie (with about 6 feet of break), and 2) Drive (with OB left), I got lazy and instead of my normal draw down the left side I sliced badly and went into a greenside bunker for the next hole. Took my 8i and hit it a good 150 yards back into the centre of my own fairway. I'll pick #2 just because my course has no fairway bunkers so I never hit full shots out of bunkers.
