Wow, you guys never cease to amaze! I'd love to get a set of irons to work with and give me a reason to put in more range time!

Taylormade r11 4-AW
2. What is your natural shot shape with irons?
In my 4-6i I have a tendency to push or pull the ball but usually a nice fade to the target is my go to.
7i and up is straight on to the target
3. What shaft and shaft flex is in your irons?
I have KBS 90 Stiff flex shafts
4. What length and lie do you play in your irons?
I play -1/2" standard lie in my irons

really excited about these irons...was a toss up between the I20's and the S5X series...

1. What irons are you currently playing? Ping I20 Silver +1/2"
2. What is your natural shot shape with irons? Slight Draw
3. What shaft and shaft flex is in your irons? ProjectX 5.5
4. What length and lie do you play in your irons? +1/2" and +3.75* upright

Ping S55 Irons - Forum Testing Signup

This just made my day! I'd like to thank THP & Ping for the amazing opportunity to test the S55 irons. I've honestly wanted to give them a run and hopefully ill get my chance for a long run with them. They look so sweet!

1. What irons are you currently playing?
I am currently playing the Wilson Staff Ci-11 irons, 4-PW.

2. What is your natural shot shape with irons?
My natural shot shape with irons is a high-mid draw. I do have the occasional fade & cut with my irons but I am more in the draw area.

3. What shaft and shaft flex is in your irons?
The shafts in my Ci-11's are the KBS Tour shafts. I have them in a Stiff flex.

4. What length and lie do you play in your irons?
The length of my Ci-11's are standard and the the lie in my Ci-11's are also standard. I am pretty lucky to be able to hit stock irons.

I would like to point out that I can definitely put out an excellent testing review for these irons because I play with my college team 2 times per week and also practice 2-3 times a week. I am tested every week with new conditions due to the climate I live in. Heavy Wind, Extreme Heat, Cold, Rain and rarely snow. My swing is now more consistent and can give me the best reading for new irons. I am anxious to put my skills to work.

P.S. I live in SoCal so I can play anytime of the year. No winter blizzards for me.

I'm currently playing callaway x-forged irons.
My shot shape is a slight draw.
Standard shaft length. Project-x flighted 6.0
Standard loft and lie is 2* flat.

Wow! I almost went with a set of S56's when I got my DPC J40's, I love that Ping line. I prefer irons with thinner soles because I use pw-7i for chipping different distances from the green. The J40's are great for this, would love to compare the S55's!

1. What irons are you currently playing? 2006 Big Bertha Irons.
2. What is your natural shot shape with irons? Slight fade - not that this was true at all during the THP Bridgestone!
3. What shaft and shaft flex is in your irons? Uniflex Royal Precision MicroTaper Steel
4. What length and lie do you play in your irons? +1" and +2°

Oh man did my eyes light up when I saw this thread. This is an amazing opportunity. I would be so honored to get to test these clubs, as I put these on my "must hit" list as soon as THP broke the news about them.

Amazing opportunity from PING and THP!!!! Thanks so much to both!!! I gamed the s56's for a season and a half and they might have been my favorite irons ever. Can't wait to see how these compare!

1. What irons are you currently playing? Believe it or not, I play the Ping i3 O-size from 12 years ago.
2. What is your natural shot shape with irons? Straight to fade
3. What shaft and shaft flex is in your irons? Standard JZ Steel - Stiff
4. What length and lie do you play in your irons? Standard - Black Dot

I am sooo in the market for new irons and would play the heck out of these!! Pick me, pick me (said in my 5 year old's voice)

I love seeing Ping doing THP testing! Great opportunity for some folks! Its starting to cool off here and I may not be able to do this testing justice so I will not throw my name in the hat because some of you lucky folks get to play through Winter and will have more opportunity to put them to the test!
