Where is the best place to put lead tape on a putter ?

I won an Odyssey Metal X #9 on ebay and it weighs 343g and I want to bring the weight up to 350.

Better to evenly distribute it? Evenly distribute it as wide as possible? Put as much in line with the center of the putter as possible? Low? High?

Sole. Dont over think placement.

I put a bunch on my putter and did my best to distribute it all over the sole of the putter. Easiest place I could find. Once I finished, I took a fairly sharp knife and gently traced the edge of the putter to cut off any excess and smoothed it all down as best I could. I havent had any issues with it coming off over the course of the last season.

You really shouldn't worry too much about this, but definitely try and center the lead tape as much as possible. Any favor towards the heel or toe will cause a slight difference in feel, which isn't a huge problem because you'll get used to it, but why create a problem when you can prevent it?
