I washed and cleaned my bag today, with success having the white panels return to original white color, and here is how I did it in case someone wants to know:
Several years ago I won an embroidered Sun Mountain carry golf bag in a "closest drive to the golf bag in the fairway" contest at a region country club. Sweet bag. It was white, red and black. After a couple years the white panels really looked bad from the dirt/mud. So today I decided to do something about it.
I took a nylon fingernail brush with soft bristles, Turtle Wax auto upholstery foam cleaner, and a power washer. I foamed the bag with the cleaner, scrubbed it thoroughly with the brush (NOT the one that comes on the can of foam cleaner - the bristles are too stiff) and gently power washed it.
The whites are white again. A couple stubborn stains are still apparent but overall, its probably 98% better than it was.
Thought it might help someone searching the topic. :clapp:
