I know it is coming, so why not just start the thread. Anybody that wants to discuss the election, can do so here.

It appears as though we are politic'ed out (is that right? Or should it be politicked or some other spelling? or is this simply a made-up word that has no correct spelling?) from the other forum. I think most people here are from there so most probably already know my views. And I'd just as soon keep this place friendly for as long as we can!

Oooo Nooo!!! I just love flaming back & forth overreactive emails about politics.

So it's okay to say that that's something I'd expect to hear from a crazed Aussie socialist? :in-love:

I have no idea what this means, but I think I'm supposed to like it. :dont-know:

Part saying, nice ploy to get a knee-jerk reaction, & part Jerry Maguire. I don't know if it was mixing metaphors or just plain mixed up. I'll be quiet now. :quiet:

Never mind me--I'm one of the few people around who hasn't seen Jerry Maguire. Tom Cruise is too hard to watch--you can see how hard he's working at acting. All those nuts and bolts and cams moving around are very distacting.

I voted today

I voted today

Not to start a debate, but I hope everyone here who can vote today has or is going to. My line was 35 minutes long, and I got there 10 minutes after it opened up. I never had to wait more than a couple of minutes before and I have always had the same ward and precinct.

DAMN... this thread had to come. We def need to stay civil... this thread became a war zone in that other place

DD-

This thread has been around for over two weeks. No arguments in this one.

wow... I didnt even see it in here

I'm expecting long lines today at the polls, should be an interesting experience. I'll be bombarded with supporters from all sides

I voted last week and the lines were long.

I voted nearly 2 weeks ago. Walked in and out in about 10 minutes. The electronic polls are the only way to go.

I voted this morning and was in and out in less than 5 minutes.

This will be my last visit to this thread as I like you guys too much to discuss politics with you.

Good Plan Grogger.

Ten minutes here. Presidential election is a foregone conclusion in this state, but there are some tight local races. I took the kids with me, and they liked being in the booth and pushing the button to record my vote.

In any event--the next election cycle starts tomorrow!

Hey, we're behaving in here!

No conflicts, no arguments . . . all in all a pretty mellow political thread!

I meant it due to Grogger's arguing at the last place. We are all here to get along.

I know he wasnt. Many were. We are going to keep it nice and civil in here.

Plus in a day we won't have much to argue about(thank goodness), glad everyone got out and voted!!!

I'm not trying to stir things up fellow, but are about to send me into insulin shock here.

Think we could get any sweeter here?

Is that allowed? I mean they aren't old enough to vote. I'm surprised they were allowed behind the curtain with you.

Spoiler
Someone had to start something in here. Right?
