    That "Deep Blue" is one sweet, very solid feeling putter. I had one in my hands for the past couple of weeks and was impressed. It isn't for those who prefer the "Classic" look, but the MOI has to be huge.
    You'll see one in play on the LPGA that has a modification to the sightlines that make it perfect for a particular player. She is a sweet lady and drop-dead gorgeous.
    Nice putter from Rife, quality is always nice to see.

    nice pictures.
    I noticed that as well. Question, didn't USGA have a rule about putters that they had to be wider than they were long? Did they change the rule?

    I looked it up. I thought I was right. I wonder how they manage to get this one by the USGA?

    This is straight off the USGA Rules site for club design criteria:

    (iii) Putters

    When the clubhead is in its normal address position, the dimensions of the head must be such that:

    * the distance from the heel to the toe is greater than the distance from the face to the back;
    * the distance from the heel to the toe of the head is less than or equal to 7 inches (177.8 mm);
    * the distance from the heel to the toe of the face is greater than or equal to two thirds of the distance from the face to the back of the head;
    * the distance from the heel to the toe of the face is greater than or equal to half of the distance from the heel to the toe of the head; and
    * the distance from the sole to the top of the head, including any permitted features, is less than or equal to 2.5 inches (63.5 mm).

    The following illustrations demonstrate the dimensional specifications for putters:

    The Rule goes on to describe how these measurements should be made for traditionally shaped heads and that for unusually shaped heads, the heel-to-toe measurement may be made at the face. Given the dimensional restrictions listed above, which help to control the size and shape of a putter head, the clause regarding unusually shaped heads is now rarely, if ever, applied.

    Here's a link to Rife's site.
    Introducing the IMO Trainer. A new weighting innovation from Rife Putters. This makes the perfect companion to the IMO with many pros and amateurs using this on the practice green and using the IMO on the course.

    All aluminum putter head with 85% of the total mass concentrated in the middle 40% from a front to rear direction. The sides are hollowed out underneath and only represent the remaining 15% of the heads mass. The USGA requires that a putter must be longer from a heel toe direction than from front to back. The IMO is right under this limitation, measuring 4.75" wide and 4.60" deep. By concentrating mass in the center of the putter, a golfer will naturally swing on plane. Also this center mass acts as a "ramrod" that continues thru impact which helps cure the #1 fault in putting...deceleration

    I really don't see anything new. The IMo came out last fall and the Deep Blue few weeks ago. I figured may be a update to the two bar series or something new.
    I'm ready to buy another Rife.
