i like the concept of a heavy wedge (i tend to add weight to mine anyway). i can see how people would swear by them. Aren't most wedges coming out a little heavier than past offerings?

I have a one of their original heavy putters, with the interchangeable weights. I don't use it much any more, although I putted pretty well with it. I just prefer lighter putters. I recently tinkered an made my own heavy putter. I took a 500 gram putter head off of a chest putter shaft , and glued on a 31" shaft I had laying around.
These heavy wedges are intriguing. Is just the club head heavier, or is the shaft also weighted?
