One of the worst kept secrets in all of golf is finally made official, as Srixon has announced an update to their golf ball line hitting stores in early August. The new ball has an updated cover that the company is calling SpinSkin along with many other changes including an updated dimple pattern.

What made it the worst kept secret? Tour players have been raving about it since trying it out a few months ago. Immediate switches by quite a few players including (but not limited to) G-Mac, MAJ and ladies #1 player in the world Inbee Park.

Hitting stores on the 8th of August with a retail price of around $45.00 in both Pure White and Tour Yellow.  Pick a sleeve up and let THP know your thoughts.

Ever since they have been talking about the new Z-stars and the price of the old ones dropped quite a bit I have been stocking up on them. I’m just not good enough, nor do I have the money, to spend $45 on balls.

These play exactly like the ProV1 and ProV1x

Thanks for making my favorite ball, I had my first hole in one on 2-19-2014. It was my first in 40 years of play. I hit a 4 iron 160 yards.

Congrats gerry. That is awesome news.
