In regards to high profile players…its slim & far between. Will we see another first time winner this year?
It’s been fairly dry up here, so unless we get a fair amount of rain, I suspect another long drive contest with the wide fairways on this Palmer course.
The forecast has rain for Tuesday, not too much after that. Weekend forecast in the low to mid 90’s. Some weather will cook up I’m sure.
Haven’t seen what Lehman did to it with the re-design they did for the tourney. Pro at my home course got to play in it last year.
He’s older than me, so that was cool.
crazy how different the lineups look after one week. lol.
Last week it was "how the hell do i fit these guys in without over spending"
This week: Uhhhh what do i do with all this extra $$$$ i cant spend while still trying to pick a winner and a possible diamond in the rough.
I sure hope not.
Big time players have typically won here when it was the PGA Tour Champions. Matt Wolff won last year.
Great course for the best ballstrikers. Whoever makes the most putts will win. Could be a 2nd DJ win in 4 weeks.
with temps in the mid 90s this weekend, there should be plenty of 350+ yard drives. Greens will probably be in better shape than last week based in other courses in the area
I had 400,000 left over and filled all 10 spots. The pricing is easy this week LOL!
Please No.
He is really working on that Quad on the range too.
the last few weeks he seems like he is chasing a certain number off the tee. I know the Memorial wasn’t the best course to bomb it and figure it out, but I think it’s a slippery slope when he "seems" like his game is prime for a win just the way it is.
I think Tony needs to switch it up some, he has to many top 10’s and talent to only have 1 win. I am surprised the caddie change didn’t happen sooner.
I understand that point, but also I don’t get "blame the caddie". A lot, of not most of the players have the final say on the shot they hit, and unless the caddie is giving wrong numbers or just a personality clash, I can’t see firing a caddie because the player isn’t playing well.
That said I get switching it up, but don’t like when the caddie is being used as a scapegoat.
intrussting.
I agree with the don’t blame the caddie. In Finau’s case I don’t think it was a blame the caddie deal. More just looking to make a change. At least the was the impression I got from a couple of places. As someone who has caddied in a few professional events with varying success. The caddie is always the scapegoat it comes with the job.
Am I thinking about this the wrong way?

What in the actual?
where’s the hot weather?
SE Texas on line one….we will trade you the 13 days in the 90’s lol
maybe they were comparing meant over inflated ego’s and thoughts of self worth?
I could buy that.
Every time I see him the last few weeks he is in some terrible spot trying to save himself.
I only watched two or three holes. I think Wolff being so chatty had to do with the fact they had to keep some sort of discussion/talking going on to keep the broadcast interesting. They can’t just walk the course and have it be silent. If I remember correctly, it took him a while to get comfortable with the other players during the Taylormade challenge.
Guarantee mine makes a huge splash!
