Was thinking that myself about yesterday and today. Think it’s members?
I believe you are correct. Think I read an article saying members are allowed to attend. I could be wrong though.
probably and friends and family. But it seems to be a decent number. I have no idea what the membership number is but the gallery size seems too big for just that.. I could be way wrong though.
"oh sh1t"
I’ve had a few of those shots
Good news is we get to do it again in 5 months!
Members, family of players, and I believe members were allowed to invite guests. At this point in the round, some of them are probably also staffers who are done with their assignments/duties.
And TMaG staffers had themselves a year.
Yepp on this.
Members and family + guests
Players family + guests
Media
Sponsors (these will likely be technically part of the member’s guests but think IBM, AT&T, and Mercedes execs)
Marshalls/Volunteers.
There’s quite a few people on the course even without all the patrons.
Me neither. Isn’t it traditionally front left?
Depends on if Kuchar is doing the math or not.
Middle left where the slope can feed the ball close to the hole. Sunday pin location is the hole in one location. 16 becomes a legit birdie hole and part of why people can make back 9 charges. This pin location makes it much harder to get close.
Yeah I was surprised to see the pin location too.
I am happy for him to win but I find him incredibly boring. That may be intentional on his part. But he is a complete yawner..
Maybe the best thing that could have happened to the rest of the field.
It’s fun to watch him hit a golf ball.
Todays pin placement also took the water out of play on 16.
How so?
These are the Sunday hole locations from last year when the hole was in its proper Sunday placement

I actually somewhat disagree and truly admire his resilience over the years. Golf needed someone to step up this season and he quietly has and took his covid test situation with class just like he did falling down stairs a few years ago and bunkergate etc. He could easily win more majors to put him in Phil, Trevino, Ballesteros territory.
That too. Just not what I think of when I think of Sunday at the Masters.
Was 12 at least the traditional Sunday location.
Resilience?
