Each year the defending champion has a celebration of sorts in the Masters Champions Dinner. An exclusive event taking place the Tuesday of Masters week hosted by the reigning holder of the Green Jacket.
Hideki Matsuyama, the first Japanese professional to win the Masters is the host this week and here is a look at his chosen menu.

That wagyu! One day I hope to be able to afford a taste of that
Amazing menu, 10/10 would crush!
You non-sushi eaters don’t need to worry about it going to waste – I’ll eat your share!
Looks amazing!
Sooooooo Gooooood!
Knew this was going to be a good one and holy hell, is it ever!!
Sounds amazing.
Could you imagine if Fuzzy Zoeller would have speculated about this same menu?
That does not suck… just had lunch and am hungry again.
Sushi + Wagyu = awesomeness!
Love everything about this menu!
Simply perfect.
Good dinner company.

I just looked up his dinner menu, honestly it seemed like a pretty safe menu to go with. Salad, steak, choice of 3 different vegetables and then a pretty nice sounding macaroni and cheese. I mean, I’d personally be pretty happy with any of the menus over the last 33 years (Lyle was 88 and I don’t really want Haggis)

I am all in on his menu! Wagyu for the win!
Kate Smith played in the 2021 ANWA and said the Sushi at Augusta was incredible.
Love this menu!

I am drooling thinking about this.

Same. I love sashimi and sushi and A5 Wagyu is the highest grade and is about $150/pound if you can find it at your local butcher. This is the best Masters Champion’s menu I can remember. š
One of the best menus ever

One of the two green jacket winners in this photo. The one who won it three times, not the one who won it five times.

Thanks , wonder if itās deliberate ? Or because heās not playing this particular year ? I could see a view that he gets invited to the dinner but not play as is choice not to play in tournament? Or is their other reasons based upon his recent commentary and alternative tour ?
Regardless still think heās earned the right to attend the gathering dinner .
These guys need to take a page from the THP experience book and get us some food pics!
That looks absolutely incredible, I’d get stuck right into that
I can imagine sleeping on that mealā¦.perfection.
This is one of my favorites Iāve seen so far.
thought for sure he’d opt for Chinese takeaway
Understated elegance. A fitting menu for the honoree.
Im going to have wagyu at the end of the month for my birthday dinner
