The continued evolution of Titleist with their seemingly increasing willingness to go a bit outside the box of their standard ways has been one of the more exciting things to see from the company. Today, they are crossing a new threshold with the introduction of an “Enhanced Alignment” option on golf balls, specifically the Pro V1, Pro V1x, and Pro V1x Left Dash.

2024 Titleist Enhanced Alignment Golf Balls
For years Titleist seemed to be on the side of less-is-more when it comes to golf ball branding. They have always done a fantastic job of keeping the clean and classic look of each Tour Performance option, however, times are changing. Armed with the reality that 64% of all Titleist players on the Tour’s and 73% of college golfers use some sort of alignment marking, it was time for them to offer something off the shelf as well.

“Enhanced Alignment is designed for golfers who are seeking a more detailed, built-in alignment feature on their Pro V1, Pro V1x or Pro V1x Left Dash,” said Jeremy Stone, Vice President, Titleist Golf Ball Marketing. “We saw overwhelming interest in the single-colored line on Pro V1 Performance Alignment, and this is another alternative for players who prefer a slightly different look.”

The “Enhanced Alignment” which we are discussing is an extended sidestamp which also widens the visual to help for better aim and accuracy to those who prefer some time of marking on their golf ball. In terms of measurement, the new dual line and arrow look which surrounds the name of each design is 65% longer than that of the traditional sidestamp for Titleist. By offering this on the Pro V1, Pro V1x, and Pro V1x Left Dash, the company is also hitting the biggest range of users for the #1 Ball in Golf.
The Details
The Pro V1, Pro V1x, and Pro V1x Left Dash Enhanced Alignment golf balls will be available through direct order as well as authorized Titleist dealers in the United States on 5/17/24 and will release worldwide on 7/1/24.
Figured Titleist would come up with something like this eventually
Kind of surprised it took so long for something like this
I like it. Better than the single line they did earlier in the year by far.
It was due to happen however I have thoughts of these…

That’s exciting for the folks who like playing their golf balls. Anyone known why the AVX didn’t get that treatment?
Not sure if I’d make the switch to this alignment but it’s nice to have some factory options.
Figured it had to come eventually. Seems like that’s where the shifts has been going to.

I was just about to ask myself. Really just made me wonder about the “premium ball” if they are leaving it out.
It looks good, I didn’t have any issue with what they already have, in comparison though. I don’t tend to add an extra alignment aide to my ball, if it already has one on it; whether it is single, double or triple lined.
Glad it gives people an additional option and it’s not too busy.
Definitely more understated than a few others out there (Callaway, Maxfli, etc) but that’s not surprising given Titleist’s nature. I don’t mind the looks at all.

Or Tour Speed.
Knights of the Sharpie unite!
Surprising that it took this long to get them going down the path. Not a ball that I use, but happy for those that are Titleist fans!
Good to see Titleist offer this feature albeit extremely limited in its ball lineup.
I dig it. Options are great.
It’s very Titleist in the execution.

It’s a “Mini Triple Track”
There were always a few alignment options (some very cool) in their custom ordering online. This is a nice factory option, as someone else mentioned already.

Yep, this was my first thought lol
I personally liked the gray arrow they did more than this but i am alignment aid fan in general so i would give this a try
I would have liked it better without the outside lines.
Figured it would be coming to their premium ball line up sometime soon. They already had similar variations on some of their other balls.
Nice to see Titleist join with some different alignment options. I’m not one to use a line on the ball, but more options for golfers is always good!

AVX has always been considered separate of the Pro V offerings, never lumped together, a big reason it doesn’t have the Pro V naming on it with some fancy symbol or letter. It doesn’t diminish it being a premium ball.
The next box of left dash balls I buy will have this alignment aid.
I dig these. I do think the solid line design from last year was very well done though. Would love to see those get re-released
Really like this. I typically prefer a plain ball without alignment markings on them, however, if there is one on their I prefer it to be more on the subdued side.
These are slick.
I put this in the Meh category. It is tough to get very excited about a late adopter of a super low tech feature.

Stahhhhp. This is so much cleaner and less likely to make to angry. ?
I like alignment lines (mainly triple track). Happy to have the option if I ever play a Titleist ball.
I like these a lot. But I fear they will be $5 more a dozen.

The arrows on either side of the model name are longer than before. That alone would work for me. I like what they’ve done, just would have liked it better without the extra lines.

I get what you’re saying, for sure, but that wouldn’t have been a significant change enough for a new release. That said, if these do well, maybe we start to see more options!
I would actually love for a company to come out with no alignment again. I would pick those up as someone who doesn’t use anything alignment wise.

I read it twice looking for it before making that post. But I also thought it was Wednesday until about 15 minutes ago so it’s going well over here.
I’m not a guy who lines things up like that on the green or even the tee, but I do appreciate the Titleist is now offering this design.

Still $55 on their site.
I like options. But I am not a fan of this. I don’t use a like to begin with and these look like range balls to me.
