It’s time for our third major of the year contest . This will also serve as the place for the tournament chat bringing the banter and conversation through the entire 2025 US Open.

The Prize
We have put together a killer mystery box bursting with gear and accessories that is just awesome. The lucky winner of our 2025 US Open contest won’t know what is coming until it arrives, but we guarantee opening it will bring jealousy from others
How to Enter – 2025 US Open Contest
Post below who you think will win The 2025 US Open.
Tie Breaker: As a tie breaker we are going to do things a little different. Take a look at the THP Staff Prediction graphic and choose which staff member will come closest. If nobody picks the winner, we will randomly choose the winner from all entries.
Entries must be posted by the time the first players tee off.
We will announce the lucky winner next week on the THP Forum.

Aberg. And @jdtox.

They nailed them ??
Been watching some of the YouTubers playing this coarse and man it’s fun to see this course beat up some golfers, hopefully it will challenge the pros this week as well.

I noticed that nobody responded to this post, or tweet, or whatever it was. I don’t do social media so I don’t know. Is this John Rahm crediting the PGA Tour for more depth than the Liv Tour?
No. He is saying he is finishing in the top 20% of either field.
10/54 = top 18.5% of field
30/156 = top 19.2% of field
Bryson Dechambeau

Going with Bryson Dechambeau and @JB for the tiebreaker

Bryson and @Hawk for the tie breaker
Ben Griffin to win
Tie breaker: Jeremy
Bryson wins, Hawk
Morikawa
Scottie s and Hawk for the tie breaker
I’m going with Jman’s picks and I’ll take Tony Finau to win!
I’m so ready for this to start.
Scottie for the win
Winner: Collin Morikawa
Staff: @Canadan
Zac Blair is my new hero.

Imagine putting from 122 out and still going long.
No, it won’t be a challenge to play here at all.
Scottie and Jman
I’ll go Scottie Scheffler with tie breaker @Jman
Scottie Scheffler Winning this thing, and @Jman for his picks!
Bryson and JB
I have to go with Scottie for the win and am going with @Jman on his picks.

Unless you’re facing him. The shoes are…..oooof.
I am going to follow a LIV golfer at the US Open, hoping to emulate Bryson’s footsteps.
Jon Rahm for the win.
@Muchmore with the staff picks
Going for Bryson with @JB picks as the breaker!
i just finished watching the video Bryson did on his practice round and it has me so fired up to follow this tournament!
the winner will be the one who avoids carnage the best.
Hatton and Rahm from 150 out with a putter, this is insane.

I’m going to stick my neck out here and go with Ludvig Aberg to win.
And I guess @JB ‘s picks will do for tie breaker.
Ball picker at Oakmont. This is cool

Will guys play that shot during the competition? I don’t see why not as wedges likely would not get any closer.
Scottie seems like the logical pick but I am going out on a limb here…
I’m rolling with Niemann and @Canadan for the tie breaker.

That green slopes pretty steep away from the approach also. That’s a tough shot to hit a downhill lie onto a green sloping away from you running at a 14.5 on the stimp. I’d putt it :ROFLMAO:
I’m another for Scottie and @Canadan, thanks

SO we’ve got robot ball pickers but like 30 guys with push mowers for the rough.

The grin Hatton gives at the beginning of this is fantastic.
Viktor Hovland, Hawk
I think I’m going to go Xander here. He’s got the length and he’s a great putter, and has been playing decently enough that he could put it together this week.
For staff picks, I’m going with @Jman.
Joaquin Niemann for the win. Chris Munch (aka Much more) for the tie breaker.
I’d like it if Rory Mcilroy or Phil Mickelson were to win, but that’s probably not too likely to happen. Too bad Ernie Els wasn’t given an invite to playing this year (given his 1994 win at the Oakmont US Open).
Cantlay and @jdtox
It seems like a safe bet to take DeChambeau and @JDax here.
I’ll take Bryson DeChambeau and @JB
