What should you actually be playing at the top of your bag?
In this video, we tested a traditional 4 iron, utility iron, hybrid, and 9 wood using two different swing speeds to see how they perform where it matters most into greens.
Instead of focusing only on distance, we looked at carry, launch, and landing angle to understand which clubs actually provide the most control and consistency.
You’ll see real swings, real variation, and how each club behaves in the air using trajectory and ball flight data.

I finally got around to watching this one during lunch today.
Really, really good video, @Hawk . I enjoyed it.

For a person that seems to want more height and hate the lefts, I have to think it could be a reasonable option for you.

So much fun.

The 9W was the first club I actually bought for myself (my brother gave me his old equipment when I first got into golf 4 years ago) and it’ll never leave my bag! I don’t game a 5i, it gaps great to my 6i

Are you playing the 5 7 and 9 at stock length.
Watched video last night. Have been considering the 7 or a 9. Have a couple holes at home course where getting ball up quickly can be a bonus. Might as well spend a little more money on my 2026 bag.
Hit my 9 wood 3 times today and it’s like hitting a 210 yard pw. So fun. I hit one 245 down wind today. It was in the air forever.
Def a new staple in the bag. It doesn’t go left too, which is key
