One of the first aspects to any good fitting is finding out exactly what each golfer wants to accomplish. THP TV went to Club Champion HQ in Illinois to find out how they go about working with each player to identify their goals.
We spoke to Nick, founder of Club Champion, exactly how their fitters go about this and what makes their premium services a bit different.

Makes perfect sense to me. Hard to try to improve / correct something without knowledge of what the desired result is.
I wonder what percentage is of people that get there or don’t like he spoke about?
I was fitness club champion I had a really good experience. I also tried Cool Clubs and liked that one too
Good point about having a goal or end game for the fitting.
I went there for a fitting of the new TaylorMade M2 and found out I hit the Epic and Cobra driver further. Really good experience at the Willowbrook location and plan on doing it again for irons in the spring.
I struggle anytime I test clubs indoors that is why I have not hit up the Orlando location yet for a fitting. Much prefer the outside type of testing.
I have had a SAM Putter fitting a Club Champion at there Deerfield location. Great people to work with.
I went to true spec an had similar treatment. Did a survey beforehand for my goals and we got there. Pretty fun experience
What perfect timing!
Going to Club Champion tomorrow for a fitting.
Can’t wait!
Nice video! Makes sense setting goals and expectations when going for a fitting.
I have never been fitted for a set of clubs in the 30 years I have played the game, this post has convinced me there may be an edge over my fellow 4 ball partners. Just booked in for a club fit at my local. Great post
