When it comes to the world of golf shoes, few franchises have garnered the attention that the Tour 360 line does each year. With every iteration of the adidas Golf line, THP has seen changes that make this shoe even better than the last. When word came out that the ATV was the next version, the readers at this site were excited to find out more.

First Impressions
The readers and forum members of this site got a treat in that some of the first consumers to get their hands on these shoes were those that competed in The Morgan Cup in 2011. The ultimate amateur golf event where golfers get the tour level treatment in sponsorship for a weekend of golf action. adidas Golf was one of the key sponsors for golfers in that event and here is the reaction and feedback on the 360 ATV line when they were announced. Click the green highlighted area and you can see the unboxing video of the shoes for the participants. To say there was a high level of excitement would be an understatement.
Testing
Following the event, I got a chance to test these shoes and after the rave reviews it received from the participants, I was extremely excited to check them out. Since that time, the shoes have been worn for 14 rounds of golf and countless range sessions and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that the ATV (All-Terrain Versatility) is a wonderful example of moving forward with a franchise. The Tour 360 line has been quite good the last few years and rather than make vast changes across the board, adidas Golf found a way to stay with an incredibly solid platform and move ahead with more technology and comfort.
On the course the first area that quickly becomes evident is that the company stuck/improved upon with their ThinTech design which keeps you closer to the ground and is something that both THP and the readers here raved about in the previous version. The differences, while subtle when wearing the shoe, are fairly vast in terms of technology, and the comfort is sublime. When you are packing in these kind of features in a golf shoe, remember that they are not going to be a lightweight shoe geared for running, but rather something made for stability and comfort and that is where the adidas Golf Tour 360 ATV model really shines. The latest version of the line is actually 2 ounces lighter and a little more than 1 mm closer to the ground than previous versions offering more support than you can imagine. The amount of spikes on these could take them to weapon status and playing in even the wettest conditions had no slipping what so ever. The system, called PINS (Performance Insert System), is an advanced cleat system and thinner outsole to bring the foot closer to the ground for improved stability, power transfer and balance
When it comes to comfort, nothing is more important than a shoe that fits. Thankfully adidas Golf uses the traditional fitting for sizing and makes life much easier for the consumer. The shoes run true to size and width and to find out what size fits you best, you actually use one of those contraptions you most likely remember as a kid. That metal sliding thing that can be found at any shoe store will give you length and width measurement and those match up to the adidas Golf sizing.
Overall
Extreme comfort and stability is not easily found in a golf shoe and when a product offers those qualities it is hard not to rave about it. The adidas Golf Tour 360 line continues to impress and while it is more expensive at $190, the ATV is definitely worth trying on and seeing/feeling for yourself. As with all shoe reviews, it is important to remember that no two golfer’s feet are the same and trying them on is the best way to find out what works best for you. The ATV shoe is available at many shoe retails and online stores and you can read more about them at the website www.adidasgolf.com.

Adidas ATVs will probably be on many Christmas wish list here at THP, nice job Adidas and great write up JB.
Very complete and technology packed review. I liked the look of these at the MC and they seems comfortable. Now add all of those features you spoke of and we have a golf shoe I want to give a go. The black look to be the winners
Nice review JB! The technology of this shoe sounds great! And who doesn’t love a comfy shoe?
Good Writeup Josh. I remember the excitement about these during Morgan Cup. Still tentative about how much traction you really need on a dry day, but these look like a sure win for those wet days or early mornings. I am curious tho on how they would ‘mark up’ a damp / wet green.
Nice review JB! I have become a bit of an Adidas shoe homer recently and would love to give these a go if I could find them on sale. They had rave reviews coming out of the Morgan Cup and it appears for good reason!
Great review JB! I haven’t owned a pair of Adidas golf shoes prior to the Tour 360 ATVs, but these really are impressive shoes. The technologies really fulfill their promises and there is very little chance of foot slippage with all the traction these shoes provide. I also find they run very true to size and width with other brands, but I do wish that Adidas would offer more models in an Extra Wide for those of us with built in water skies.
I love the looks of these shoes! I think Adidas offers a solid set of shoes with this line. Great review.
Nice review! Like others, I have become a huge fan of the golf shoes Adidas has put out, and these are certainly high on the list for my next pair. Love the looks of these.
Tour 360’s have to be the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn on the course. I’d have 10 pairs if I could afford it. This line has a pretty agressive look to it, but it seems like there are color options for just about everybody.
I normally have a hard time justifying spending so much money on a shoe but with this review and all the positive comments on here I might actually have to take a hard look at this shoe.
Good review. I was one of the lucky Morgan Cup participants to get these shoes to wear in that event, and I’ve had multiple rounds in these shoes since that time. I have no complaints with these shoes, and find myself going to these shoes over other pairs that I have because of the comfort.
Wow, first of all great review. How long until we just see football style cleats on the bottom of golf shoes? I’m all for the traction and stability it offers so don’t get me wrong but these things look like they could be worn in the NFL! They are absolutely gorgeous looking shoes, seeing them in person is even better than the pics.
Great review JB. Adidas has been making some of the most comfortable and functional golf shoes on the market for quite some time now, and they seem to have hit another home run with these.
Great review JB! These shoes look like they are no joke! TONS of traction! I love Adidas golf shoes so much, and I am excited about these ones.
These are one of my favorite looking shoes! The price has always kept me away from the adidas Tour shoes. They sure are good looking and I keep hearing rave reviews of the comfort. One day I’ll have to break down and get a pair. Great review JB!
Great review, JB. These shoes are bar none the best I’ve ever worn.
great review JB… i had to leave my # at Golf Galaxy cause they keep selling out and ive been in trying to get a pair for months now.
Great review Josh. I am in love with my ATV’s and am in severe ponder for another pair. The black/white looks really, really good.
The $90 I spent on a blemished Tour 360 4.0 shoe was probably the best $90 I’ve ever spent in my golfing life. Once these wear out I’ll be heading to the ATVs. The black shoe with white is hawt!! 🙂 It matches both the black and the white belt. Yippee! I tried on a pair at a PGA Superstore and they feel very similar to the 360 4.0 shoes. I love the aggressive styling and all that technology!
Nice write up JB. I have never tried adidas golf shoes, but after hearing all of these positive comments, I will keep them in mind next time I need a pair!
Nice review JB. These are great looking shoes and it sounds like adidas has another hit on their hands!
Nice writeup JB..!! I have been a longtime happy FootJoy fan, but have been wondering how well these new fangled Addidas’ perform. I will definitely keep these on my radar for my next shoe purchase.
I found the review useful and the thread a very interesting read. I’ve seen the shoe in the store and have handled it but did not try it on.
Based on this review, my personal inspection and the comments from THP forum members I currently have a pair on order from my pro shop (GREAT PRICES from him !)
I used to wear Etonics for years, then about 10 years ago moved to FootJoy … now looks like I’ve moved again ….. so far each move has been a step up in comfort and performance and I am confident that the trend will continue ..;
Got a gift card for golfsmith this christmas and will be heading there for a pair a these. Thanks for the write ups everyone. Makes it easy to find a shoe I can be happy with.
Great looking shoe. can’t wait for mine to show up at the door.
When I initially commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a

Is there any way you can remove people from that service?
Appreciate it!
