The Aldila NV shaft is iconic in popularity and with the 15th anniversary upon us, the company is putting out something incredibly neat. While at Aldila HQ in Carlsbad, CA recently we got a sneak peek at the shaft and here is a quick look at what makes this so special.
To commemorate the 15th anniversary of one of the most successful shafts in golf history, Aldila created the Limited Edition NV. These models feature Aldila’s Micro Laminate Technology (MLT) that is designed to enhance performance and feel through extremely thin layers of premium grade materials. The goal is to remove dead zones that can be caused by voids in between the layers of prepreg.
The final result has this gorgeous ion plated finish and as you can see in the video, the shaft really stands out and will pair well for many golfers. Available in both blue and green to match up with popular shafts, each have unique ball flight characteristics that matchup to their original shaft. Were you an Aldila NV player? Give us your thoughts below or join us for the conversation in the THP Forum. Stay tuned because we have a lot more coming on this line in the coming weeks.

Digging the design and the platform this was made from. Hope to get one in a driver and see what’s what.
I heard rumblings about this one and saw it on their website. The blue will be mine. Love the flying shaft in the video.
I used to use NV in everything. Great to see a comeback feel here.
Nice JB. That room looks fun.
I use an XTorsion and love it.
I had the Green NV in my fairway woods a while back. They are definitely great shafts for sure. Interested to say the least
