Aldila is one of those shaft brands with an impressive lineage. In fact, when someone mentions Aldila, three distinct lines usually come to mind. The first is the NV Green shaft, which gained wide popularity among everyone from weekend golfers to tour players. Years later, the Aldila RIP line emerged as the must-try shaft for golfers. During that time, it wasn’t uncommon to ask your playing partner about their eye color, as it referred to the color shown on the skull logo, which indicated the shaft’s launch characteristics.
The third shaft that stands out is the Aldila Rogue, which gained immense popularity on the PGA Tour, topping the Darrell Survey as the most-used shaft for 44 consecutive weeks. The Rogue has also contributed to multiple major championship victories and a FedEx Cup championship. With its latest announcement, Aldila is building on that Rogue lineage with the new Rogue Infinity (∞) Club Builder Series.
Building on the Aldila Rogue Legacy

At the core of the new Aldila Rogue Infinity is the innovative Dual Torque Core Technology, designed to minimize torque while delivering a stable, reliable feel without abandoning the smooth responsiveness Aldila is known for. This technology reduces torque and improves shaft stability though an application of High Modulus Fiber and Pitch Fiber.
Aldila launched the Rogue ∞ shaft last year, and now they are taking the next step by introducing four different profiles. This expansion gives fitters more flexibility in selecting the ideal Rogue ∞ shaft for your swing. Each shaft, regardless of profile, uses the Dual Torque Core technology mentioned above and features laser-etched detailing, ensuring it performs well and looks the part. Similar to Mitsubishi Chemical’s Diamana lineup, the shaft fitting system is color-coded in four options: red, white, blue, and a counterbalanced option in charcoal grey.
Dual Torque Core Technology

While the underlying technology remains consistent, each Rogue ∞ profile is designed to produce different start lines, deflection and face-delivery characteristics. Here’s how the four options differ.
Rogue ∞ Red – Right Start Line
Designed to encourage shots to start right, thanks to toe-down deflection. With its responsive tip section, this shaft helps golfers achieve a more consistent face delivery, resulting in a tighter impact position. The Rogue ∞ Red is ideal for golfers who want a smooth-feeling shaft that can help turn an unwanted slice into a gentle draw.
Rogue ∞ White – Left Start Line
In contrast, the Rogue ∞ White shaft is tailored for higher-swing-speed players who prioritize maximum face control and stability. With minimal toe-down deflection, it suits golfers who prefer a leftward starting line. Aggressive swingers should take note: this shaft is ideal if your game requires a more penetrating ball flight along with improved stability and accuracy off the tee.

Rogue ∞ Blue – Neutral Start Line
If you enjoy the feel of the Rogue ∞ Red but desire the stability of the Rogue ∞ White, the Rogue ∞ Blue may be the shaft for you. According to Aldila, the ∞ Blue is designed for balanced performance and features a profile that sits between the Red and White. Among these three shafts, the Rogue ∞ Blue offers the most neutral starting line, making it an excellent option for a wide range of golfers.
Rogue ∞ CB - Neutral Start Line
Aldila highlights that the Rogue ∞ CB takes counterbalancing to a new level by shifting more mass towards the butt end of the shaft. In fact, it is the most counterbalanced shaft that Aldila has ever created. This innovative design, combined with a low-torque profile, offers a shaft that could help golfers increase their swing speed while still achieving a tighter dispersion pattern. According to Aldila, the Rogue ∞ CB also offers a neutral starting line, while delivering a responsive feel that distinguishes it from traditional counterbalanced options.
Understanding the Rogue Infinity Stiffness Key
To help golfers better understand each shaft’s characteristics, Aldila includes a stiffness key on every shaft that rates the butt, mid, and tip sections on a scale of 1 to 10, giving golfers an easy way to compare how each shaft is constructed. Aldila also includes a chart that illustrates each shaft profile.

A proper fitting remains the best way to determine which Rogue ∞ works for your swing, but not everyone has the time, budget or access to one. The stiffness key gives golfers another piece of information to work with before choosing a shaft or speaking with a club builder.
Aldila Rogue Infinity (∞) Club Builder Series Price and Availability
The all-new Rogue ∞ Club Builder Series is now available at authorized dealers for $200. Golfers looking for a fitting location for the new Rogue ∞ shafts can visit aldila.com to find authorized dealers and fitting centers.

I’ve been waiting for this update, thanks for sharing. So compared to the white, this CB was favoring the right side a little bit more for you? How else would you compare the differences?
honestly, this was my first time out. I need to get more with all to give a fair comparison.
I would never have sent you out with a CB to start. Boo.
Go White next time.

I will own that. The number code on that one was by far the most intriguing to me. It is much appreciated.

I’m just not the right guy to ask about CB love lol. Like you, I’ll take it if I want to hit the occasional massive slice off the planet.

That or the Proto. I just can’t avoid it.
I agree with the above.
Only uphill from here!
@ddec did one of these come out to play again this weekend?
And feedback on the Red?
This line up has me very curious. Didn’t someone buy out Aldila?

The CB and the white. I get a good bit more speed from CB. Not sure if it would translate to strike but I’d love to try. The Mitsu orange is a launch monitor monster
