A few months back The Hackers Paradise got a chance to review a couple of items from Antigua and the response from the readers was very positive. As we continue with our 2nd week of Fall Fashion Preview, we wanted to take a look at Antigua and what they are doing with their fabrics and what is available for consumers right now. This is a brand that more and more of our readers have emailed in about and are taking notice of the new materials that they are using.
“Based on the ever increasing consumer awareness of Antigua as a genuine golf performance apparel brand, we wanted to give the consumer the opportunity to be able to buy branded Antigua apparel directly in an online shopping environment where they can browse through a selection of our men’s and women’s polos, hats and outerwear at their convenience.
Presently they are able to buy Antigua genuine golf apparel in every better golf retailer nationwide with that resorts logo on our apparel in addition to being able to find it in every sports retailer as licensed team logoed apparel, but this is an opportunity for them to be able to buy our genuine golf apparel branded as Antigua, which doesn’t conflict with any of our present retail partners,†said Antigua President Ron McPherson.
Antigua takes its high performance collection in a new direction. Taking its lead from the ever evolving fashion market Antigua steps out – and up by introducing what they’ve coined ‘contemporary performance’.
Taking its highly effective Desert Dryâ„¢ and new Desert Dryâ„¢ Xtra-Lite moisture wicking performance fabrics with their soft textures and light weight athletic drape and moves from active brights and active wear styling and replaces them with a rich sophisticated color palette and clean updated styling details to complete its transformation to contemporary performance men’s golf wear.
Antigua Women’s Performance collection’s three innovative, opulent product groups are Chic, Elegance and Luxe, Desert Dryâ„¢ Xtra-Lite will be featured in the Luxe collection’s Flourish (poly all-over embossed jersey polo) and Impeccable (poly/spandex jacquard mesh polo) styles. Desert Dryâ„¢ Xtra-Lite fabric will also be used in basic styles such as the Women’s Exceed group, which consists of a short-sleeve polo, and sleeveless and long-sleeve polo styles.
For more information on any of the Antigua collections or to check out their new online store that they recently launched, head over to their website and have a look.

Looking forward to this brand being more available. I love the Desert Dry Bridgestone shirt I received at the WGC tournament and want to get more of their shirts.
Love Antigua shirts. Glad to see they finally launched an online store. Also had no idea about Slazenger and will now look to take that brand more seriously.
Love the purple shirt. Never had one of these but am buying one this week. So many people seem to love the material.
Anna,
I LOVED the material of the purple shirt. I also really liked that the shirt still has a ‘fall’ look to it while still having bright ‘spring’ like colors. Let us know what you think when you get the top, we love the feedback.

I have 2 Antigua shirts and think they are the best I own. Looking forward to trying some with the bamboo in them.
Very good looking shirts. The wife should like the women’s shirts as well, as they don’t look like they have looser ends on the sleeves. Many women’s shirt cuffs seem to fit tight around the arms. These look more like the style of men’s shirts: looser fit.
