The THP Radio Network is proud to present the Golf Unfiltered Show with Adam Fonseca. The show brings new and interesting topics and interviews from the world of golf and we are honored to have it as part of our lineup on The Hackers Paradise Podcast Network.
Josh Babbitt (That’s me) is back as a guest on Golf Unfiltered to take a look behind the scenes of the PGA Show, how media and manufacturers work together and the ever changing landscape of social media in golf. If you like the in depth conversations about the inner workings of the golf media, this is the show for you. If you missed my last visit on the show, it is definitely worth a listen as we explore the 10 years of The Hackers Paradise in a Raw and Uncut look at golf media and THP.

Didn’t realize Bridgestone wasn’t there, remember a few years back they had an ENORMOUS setup. Funny about the “record” year…..talk about spinning a story. Just sounds like Bridgestone is heading south month after month.
Dialogue around marketing was a good one and the whole gaining yardage thing. It is cool to see how it’s evolved some over the last few years from 17 more yards to now. Really enjoyed the talk around Harry and the twitter activity, completely agree how if he decides to engage someone and call them out he will stick with it. Makes for some very entertaining dialogue that’s for sure.
Interesting about Titleist going after Callaway….I don’t recall them ever doing that in the past. I wonder if that’s a smart idea as I think the marketing at Callaway will win this battle in the long run.
Excellent listen! Really enjoyed the conversations around the testing/reviewing/ marketing of new equipment and the actions/reactions regarding golf ball market share.
I always enjoy and learn a lot from the genuine back and forth between Adam and JB. I didn’t need any convincing to know that THP reviews clubs the right way but I do appreciate JB taking the time to explain the hows and whys so thoroughly. Great episode.
Great show, I could sit and talk (or in this case listen) to golf industry behind the scenes stuff for hours! I’d definitely love to hear you guys get back on and keep going, Adam kind of alluded to the idea of doing more if the listeners wanted it…we want it! Great show guys, keep it up!
