The Titleist Performance Institute in Oceanside is where golfers and tour pros alike go to get fit for clubs. THP TV decided to open up the curtain and show you a complete tour of the facility and talk with head of club fitting Brett Porath about what goes on in each area. Join us on this journey through TPI and get an inside look on what takes place at this golfers’ paradise.

As usual fantastic insight into what I can only imagine is a really fun time. The skills green looks absolutely terrifying and is my worst nightmare. The facility looks amazing and you guys did a fantastic job!
That was really cool. I have wondered about getting my clubs fit there but instead went to a Titleist Thursday and was underwhelmed. Think this is my Christmas gift to myself this year.
That is an impressive facility. A place like that is the golf standard for getting fit for clubs. They seem to really get everything that should go into a fitting and are definitely setting up players for success.
That facility is insane! It really would be a dream practice facility and I’m extremely impressed how they go about the fitting experience.
Always awesome videos. I am a pretty big Titleist loyalist and always wanted to know more about this place. That guy Brett in the video with Dean realy explained it all well and that walk across the green was cool.
I saw it posted in the forum, but are the other OEMs similar with places like this?
Thanks to Titleist & Brett for taking the time to give such a detailed walkthrough of the performance institute’s fitting area. I wonder how this would help a high handicapper- it seems a bit intimidating at first. The skills green in particular is crazy.
I like how Brett explains the reasoning behind every aspect of the facility. Titleist comes across as very thorough. This really left a positive impression.
@Mike Timber,
Yes each of the OEMs we visit do have professional fitting areas. Some better than others, but the big companies all have something to work with and fit their professionals.
Having been to this one, this spot covered the essence of Oceanside realy well. Kudos to that THP. Currently using all Titleist clubs outside of an Epic driver and A Cleveland wedge and think I want to go back here for my next iron fitting when the new ones come out later this year.
Good work Dean! Brett sounds like he is the man when it comes to fitting knowledge. That was a fun listen. “There is 14 battles going on”. Isn’t that the truth!
What do you think is the most important area to get fit for? If I can only afford one, which do I do?
A great inside look at the TPI. I would enjoy going through a wedge fitting at their short game facility.
Loved this segment! Makes a Titleist guy like myself very happy to see them participating in something like this!
I’d love to spend about a week at TPI getting fitted, but, also learning a great deal about my game. What am impressive facility!
