Off Course is back this week with a fantastic show. Hosted by Dan Edwards each Friday he gives you a deep look into the world of golf and equipment in a way unlike any other podcast has done before. Today Rick Oldach, President of Big Max USA joins the show for a really interesting conversation about the game of golf and the tools we use to play..
It wouldn’t be Off Course without some tangents, but Dan and Rick discuss everything from the history of Big Max to how he got involved with the brand and where they are headed in the future. This show has a lot going on and is one you will not want to miss.

Episode 104 is here and Dan and Rick discuss the following topics.

Got to listen this weekend on a drive and enjoyed it very much. Especially since I didn’t know a thing about Big Max before this. Appreciate the continued variation with guests every week!
Just got a chance to listen to this and really enjoyed it. As a long-term member of the #PushCartMafia , I am certainly interested in learning about the various options out there. I have been using a Big Max Dri Lite Cart bag on my push cart for almost 2 years and really like it. Based on my experience with this bag, I will likely purchase more bags from them in the future.

I have the Blade Quattro. I bought it when covid hit because the county that I live in didn’t make courses close. I love it. Packs up so slim that I keep it in my trunk 100% of the time. Balance is good as well.
My only issue. One of the straps that holds the top of the bag is starting to come out of the housing. If you look on their European website, they sell replacement parts for the Quattro. The USA site? Nothing. So I sent an email through their contact link on the website asking if they sell them. I get a response back from someone who according to their title in the email, is the General Manager. He says that they do in fact sell them, and give me a price which includes shipping. So I respond asking how I can purchase the part, and so far……I haven’t been given an answer. I will send out another email next week, but if I don’t get a response, when the strap breaks, I know for sure I will be looking elsewhere for a push cart.

Update:
I received another email from the General Manager apologizing for not responding and they will be sending the replacement parts. Sometimes emails get lost in the shuffle, but they are making it right. Good company with good customer service in my book!
