Inspired by Bridgestone Tires?
The inspiration behind the design comes from an unexpected place. Bridgestone based the TREADLINE pattern on its Dueler A/T Ascent tire tread design, creating a connection between two very different sides of the company’s business.
Normally, tying a golf ball to a tire might seem unusual, but Bridgestone makes it work here.
Though it’s fun and a little quirky, the tread pattern isn’t simply decorative. The concept revolves around the same principles that make tread important on the road: direction, confidence and consistency. Bridgestone adapted those ideas into a visual alignment aid intended to help golfers establish cleaner setup visuals and greater awareness of where they are aiming.
