CALLAWAY GOLF WELCOMES TREVOR IMMELMAN TO TOUR STAFF

2008 Masters Champion to Play Callaway Equipment and Wear Callaway Apparel

CARLSBAD, Calif., January 24, 2011 – Callaway Golf Company (NYSE: ELY) today announced it has reached a broad-ranging agreement with PGA TOUR Professional Trevor Immelman. The 2008 Masters Champion will play a full complement of Callaway equipment and compete in Callaway headwear, apparel and footwear when he makes his 2011 PGA TOUR debut this week at the Farmers Insurance Open in La Jolla, California.

“I am really excited to start my year in partnership with Callaway Golf,” Immelman said. “After spending some quality time with the team in Carlsbad, it became clear to me that I wanted to be part of the Callaway family. I was blown away by their commitment to producing the most cutting edge, highest quality equipment in the game of golf. I look forward to using this equipment to the best of my ability in years to come.”

Born in Cape Town, South Africa, Immelman has eight worldwide victories to his name, including two on the PGA TOUR. He was voted the 2006 PGA TOUR Rookie of the Year on the strength of eight top-10 finishes in 24 starts that season. Among his six career international victories are back-to-back titles on home soil at the South African Airways Open (2003 and 2004). He has also played on two Presidents Cup teams, representing the international side in 2005 and 2007. Wrist surgery in 2009 limited Immelman to just 13 starts in 2010. His top finishes last year included a tie for 13th at the RBC Canadian Open and a tie for 14th at the Masters.

“Trevor matches up perfectly with Callaway’s core values,” said Nick Raffaele, Vice President of Sports Marketing, Callaway Golf. “His desire to play the best equipment and sharp focus on winning made Trevor an ideal fit for Callaway. We are fortunate to have Trevor and looking forward to helping him achieve his goals.”

In capturing the 2008 Masters, Immelman joined fellow Callaway Staff Professional Gary Player as the only South Africans to win the coveted Green Jacket. Along with Player and another Callaway Staff Professional, Ernie Els, Immelman is one of just six South African golfers to win a major championship. Trevor and his wife, Carminita, have one son, Jacob Trevor, and one daughter, Mya Belinda.
