The week long extravaganza known as the THP Showcase continues today with Callaway Live with Epic Speed, Apex and More. Unprecedented access all week long with our staff testing the equipment and telling you about it, as well as experts straight from the companies involved answering your questions as the testing takes place.
For those that missed the schedule and want to find out what is going on each day and at what time, click here.
Today we have multiple live streams with Callaway Golf including a breakdown of each of their new releases.
First Live Stream today is all about Epic Speed, Max and Max LS along with a ton on the new Apex 21 irons. The THP Staff will be testing it live in the Tech Studio and offering their feedback on everything. During this, you will be able to ask questions to them, request items to be hit and offer thoughts live as it happens. We will also have David Neville from Callaway Golf with us virtually to offer insight into what we are seeing and why, and answer all of your questions.
The Second Live Stream today is putter madness. With the recent launch of Odyssey White Hot OG, we have Luke Williams from Odyssey joining in to help talk us through all aspects of their putter lineup, as well as answer any questions you have.
The Third Live Stream is Drinks and Golf Balls with Jason Finley. We talk new Callaway Golf Balls, test them out in the Tech Studio and answer your questions over cocktails.
How to Watch
The THP Showcase will be showing off some of the best equipment in the world. We will also be giving some of it away to those that tune in, so you will not want to miss a single day of action. You will be able to watch on YouTube, Facebook or right from the THP Forum. We will also have some spot contests throughout the week on social media by doing mini live streams on Instagram for a chance to win as well.
This was built for you to get the questions answered around the new equipment as it comes out. Do not miss a single day of the THP Showcase.
Except I lost internet as he started to discuss the Hybrids Will listen when avaliable. Lots to ask my fitter next week.
I think ball selection is critical. Spin drops by using a ball that works for my game (and honestly my iron spin has gotten worlds better over the last couple years). Flight is substantial from a launch perspective and considering the shaft is called elevate I think it’s a nice compliment.
and I will say the same thing I did earlier in the week. I am absolutely blown away by how controlled all three elevate offerings were while swinging them. I was going HARD on the 95 today during the live stream and it did great.
You did pretty well there for a while bud.
EVERY SINGLE FREAKING DAY!!!!
Fun fact that last shaft was a TX flex and my hand was slipping ?
Straight up murdered golf balls is what @jdtox did. What a legend.
yeeeeeeesh.
Tons of information provided in a way that is easy to understand. Always a pleasure to watch/listen to the Callaway guys talk equipment.
I’d say personally it’s because most people who try to swing harder tend to miss right more often. I know that’s what happens with me. The B-21 is a hit and since a draw flight generally provides more distance anyway it’s a no brainer with how the game is centered on gaining distance currently.
Also plenty of new people playing golf and the right miss is generally a “beginners” problem
There isn’t?
Draw bias was discussed a relative measure from being neutral to more draw. Every club is going to be based on that as the heel side has a hosel and a shaft and both of those things have weight.
All those swings you had to be getting tired too. It’s been a long week already and countless swings for you guys. You are all doing a stellar job.
nto sure ive heard any oem say "fade bias" though
Are we going to be witnessing some "awesome" simulator putting skills?
hmmmm…that may keep some folks away. HAHAHA…we all know how SIM putting works.
It exists, but less understood generally speaking.
Loved you’re "cold" hitting too
This resembles moments of my week as well! Ha ha
So much great info being shared!
Haha. Technically, no, I do not neeeed them per se.
No sir, he will be providing commentary.
I am still with you. I would think I would want the 125s… haha..
