New wedges from Callaway hitting stores this month called Mack Daddy Forged. The new shape, forged of 1025c steel, should please even the most discernible eye as they feature a toe that is more square in look that leads to a club head that has less offset and a straighter leading edge to promote clean contact. Progressive center of gravity positioning (where the CG changes with each loft) helps with flighting, without any sacrifice of spin. The new sole grind is setup for versatility and more importantly the different types of terrain golfers encounter on the course. The pictures below tell the story better.
THPers that were part of the Event last month, have been testing these wedges out for the last month both on and off the course and you can read those reviews on the THP Forum here.
Features and Benefits
Exceptional Control from Signature Shaping and Progressive CG
Beautiful new shape and progressive CG locations to promote a lower, more controllable trajectory in the higher lofts.
More Spin from New 16 Groove Configuration
New 16-groove configuration incorporates an added groove near the leading edge for more spin, especially on pitches and chips.
Increased Versatility from New •R• Grind
A defined crescent sole creates more precision shot-making options in the short game, especially on half shots and off of tight lies.
Soft Feel from Forged Construction and Rich Finishes
Forged of soft 1025c steel for great feel and consistency. Choice of two finishes: Nickel Chrome with copper strike for a refined look, Brushed Slate for a raw look.

Very nice, curious about the R Grind. As an MD3 user, I would game these. The pics look great and less offset has me sold. Price is a little high, I like the grip pairing though.
Best looking wedges Callaway has produced in a while. Nice touch having the DG Tour Issue shafts and Lampkin UTx grip.
Big fan of the shape and the new grind looks pretty versatile. I like a more square leading edge but these would have to be something very special to kick my gamer RTX3 out.
Big fan of the looks and that classic shape at address. Pretty cool to see the progressive cg based on the club.
These Mack Daddy wedges look and play great.
These look great, I’m a huge fan of previous MD offerings and think it appears that Callaway has definitely improved upon those. Can’t wait to check them out!
Love the toe being more squared off.
Fantastic looking wedge. My needs are driver and wedges this year. Callaway definitely has my attention.
