In case you have been living under a rock, when it comes to golf the women’s game is growing like never before. More and more women are actively enjoying this crazy game and embracing the highs and lows that come with it. However, there is a deterrent of sorts to that for some, and it is the equipment.
Historically, it has sadly been enough for some companies to slap a bright color scheme which someone there associates with femininity on clubs and call it a day. This has often meant either designs for the men made to hopefully fit women, or those with minimal innovation at all.
That isn’t how Callaway Golf rolls and thank goodness for that. As they put it themselves, “WE’RE ONLY GOING FURTHER”.
Callaway REVA RISE
The premise behind REVA from its inception was always about leading a REVA-lution (revolution), to turn what women’s golf club offerings had been to that point upside down and truly innovate. Since then, there have been multiple iterations, but REVA RISE is different.

This is a true passion project for the women at Callaway who are known internally as the WGC, the Women’s Golf Council. To say that this is a labor of love for them would be putting it mildly, as they have been involved in every single step of the development, design, and now marketing of this new lineup of clubs.
In all honestly, the amount of research and development that has gone into the RISE lineup would shock most readers. Every single aspect, from color, to the absolutely killer script Callaway logo, and the implementation of premium technology has been gone over with a fine tooth comb.
REVA RISE is about the woman who has gotten into golf and seen her game grow, likely outgrowing the box or intro set they started with, but not quite ready to move to an Apex or Elyte option. So, REVA RISE is all about the rise of their game, to a better club design built around the correct needs in the chase for speed, launch, and playability…not to mention a ton of bag appeal.
Callaway REVA RISE – Driver

There was nothing left to chance when it came to the development of the driver within this new Reva Rise lineup. It was critical to Callaway that they not only implement key technologies, but to do it with a focus on the needs of women golfers.
That first started with the AI 10X Face. Like with the Elyte drivers, this too has a uniquely designed face topography showcasing the 10X design. However, for this Callaway specifically dialed in their Swing Code to utilize the swings of thousands of fittings they have conducted and recorded for female golfers.

This means creating applicable face solutions which are optimal for the speed, path, attack angle, and miss patterns of the demographic Reva Rise is actually being designed for. Then, after adding in the Triaxial Carbon crown to really optimize the internal weighting and CG placement, Callaway has arguably designed the most tech forward driver for women yet.
Loft availability on the Reva Rise driver is 10.5 (RH) and 12.5 (RH/LH) degrees. They have a playing length of 44.375” and are paired with a UST Mamiya LINQ LTE 40g shaft.
Fairway Woods and Hybrids

Not to worry, these two clubs have just as much technology packed into them as the driver, but in a well conceptualized way. In fact, Callaway uses the term “Thoughtful Design” in reference to these, and that in and of itself is a brilliant thing to see.

In this part of the bag, turf interaction is critical. However, like all other aspects, it is not the same for men and women. Typically, women are much more shallow in their attack angle with hybrids and fairways than men are, so that needed to be accounted for. This is why there is no Step Sole in the Reva Rise. Since the goal is more shallow, it made more sense to alter the overall shaping and face depth as it is will have much more impact than the step would.

As with the drivers, the fairways and hybrids also use the Swing Code to develop unique AI 10X Faces which offer playability where it is needed most. Both clubs also work to get the CG lower to increase launch, with the fairways utilizing the Triaxial Carbon crown.
Both clubs come in a broad assortment of loft options as the hybrids are available in 4-9H (22-42 degrees) and fairways from 3W-11W (18-31 degrees). The 3W/5W as well as 4/5/6 hybrids are also available for lefties. The clubs are paired with the UST Mamiya LINQ LTE shaft in 40g as well as 45g respectively.
Callaway REVA RISE – Irons

On the iron side of things, the women’s Swing Code to design the AI 10X Face which they use was perhaps even more critical. Here, Callaway was able to target specifically their data on iron swings for women, rather than lumping all swing types together. As these are totally different swings, it of course resulted in a totally different AI face design.
Additionally, the irons are using Callaway’s 360 Face cup, a core technology in what the company does with irons. This means they left no stone unturned to create the fastest irons they could to maximize performance. Likewise, the Pre-Worn Leading Edge which is now on all Callaway irons is present here too, with its testing in all demographics constantly bringing more speed and forgiveness.

The irons are being offered in a 6-SW setup (46 degree PW) which can be blended with the various hybrids and fairways as the user sees fit. They are paired with the 45g version of the UST Mamiya LINQ LTE graphite iron shaft.
The Details
You might be thinking, “wow, that sure was a lot to read about women’s clubs” and this writers response would be damn right it is. Whether you are a female golfer, spouse, or parent to one, then the Reva Rise lineup should make you smile. Callaway is bringing designs to the table which have no trade-offs just because they are designed for women, and it is a breath of fresh air to see.
The Reva Rise lineup begins pre-sale 4/4/25 with products at retail on 4/25/25. Pricing on the clubs will be $499.99 for driver, fairways at $299.99, hybrids for $249.99, and the 6-piece iron set at $999.99.

I love that Callaway continues to bring their womens club along with the technology advances. I really wish my daughters played more because I would be getting them fit with this new line. I love everything about it.
Nice write-up @Jman . My wife upgraded her irons & hybrids last year to that year’s release of the Big Bertha Reva line and has been very happy. This upgrade stretching down all the way to the driver looks very upscale.
Great write up @Jman
This is a gorgeous lineup and that script….. [emoji50]?[emoji100]
I love this story.
I also love the script and hope it hits other things
Lots of cool stuff in this. A 40g LINQ has me intrigued to swing one. The Callaway scripting is really sharp. The shallow face on the FWs frightens me- hah. Great pic though to capture it.

I wonder about lengths. My wife is 4’11” and club length is always a problem. The shortest reduction from Callaway ‘s site is still too long.
Great writeup @Jman ! Callaway did a great job on these and love the script writing!
I love the effort Callaway has put into the women’s side of clubs. I think this line looks killer, and a lot of great tech implementations as well
Fantastic stuff and love the article @Jman
Fantastic writing @Jman. Breath of fresh air is the perfect way to describe it.
And I agree that script logo is fantastic and should be everywhere.
Callaway did a really great job with these. I’ve always been impressed with the REVA line and this looks to be a great step forward.
I got my wife a set of the Ai Smoke Max Fast irons last year but she could use another hybrid to transition to the top end of the bag. These will be getting a serious look.
My daughter, other than driver and putter, is all Callaway. Older stuff and maybe she’s not the target for this equipment ( honestly my brain hasn’t kicked in yet today) but she and i will need to visit golf stores around Hilton head when she’s here for the heritage. Down side, she lives in NYC and isn’t playing other than when she’s here.
Glad to see Callaway deeper diving (if possible) into women’s equipment!
Nice write up @Jman.
This lineup looks amazing, and a great effort to put some focus on the women who play this game. It a great option instead of making other cut down clubs try to work.
With two daughter golfers and a wife’s bag to keep up on, this lineup hits me HARD. I am going to have to find a way to some of this lineup in house and put it through the paces.
Wife is due for an upgrade. Will check these out when they hit stores. Great focus into the women’s and interesting to see the woods shallow face. Wife is just starting to hit down on them so will interesting to see what she thinks.

That is wildly shallow.
Also really interesting the price point for the irons being 6 for 1k

The driver looks like it might get the nod for @mrs.outlawx but she’s not into changing clubs like we do ?
That slipped right by me, ?. Her previous make-up would have a couple hybrids with the iron’s at that price point.
I enjoyed reading the article and learning about what Callaway is doing.
It’s good that Callaway puts some kind of effort into the women’s game rather than the typical “shrink it and pink it”. The script logo looks so good, and while those fairways look kind of scary with that low profile, I’ll bet they’re very versatile and easy to elevate.
Finally — I advised a client to buy his wife a bag of Callaway Reva in 2017 – although I was not impressed by the set – she was a beginner so it was starter bag time.
For my wife, who is a beginner, I went Callaway but it’s a grab bag of clubs Driver (Paradigm 12 40g shaft),7 wd, 9 wd, 8-PW and SW, Ping ChipR…. If Callaway had these a year ago …
These look like golf clubs … good golf clubs.

I bought mine the HL elyte and I think this could have potentially been a better fit but she’s more suited to 70g iron shafts than the 40/45.

My wife is a professional pianist so she wants to go as light as possible in shafts — she stays toned but won’t lift a weight more than 5 lbs. lol. She says muscular arms affect her play.

My wife is 5-1 but she squats in her swing, so normal women’s sets that are “petite” were still too long. We went to a local US Kids fitter and she is using the 60″ Women’s set that US Kids sells.
I came in to read this review hoping that they would have some different sizes and still hoping that they see this and will come out with not only Petite but maybe even a shorter version of the petite sets.
Everything about this line is so good and well thought out. Love the Callaway Script logo too, it shouldn’t just be for women!
I really had fun writing this one.
I love that it’s a STEP. Above Reva Bertha, but below Apex.
Not to mention using the Swing Code to design for the actual needs of women, is a breath of fresh air to see.
Great write-up @Jman !! I love seeing Callaway put in that kind of effort in with women’s clubs. Really diving in and designing clubs to fit women’s swings is something I wish every manufacturer would do. My wife plays a little and I have two nieces that have jumped into golf head first, so I love to see this. There will be some club upgrades coming up for them and these will be high on the list for them to try.
Love the dedication of R&D to a complete womens line of equipment. Great article, James.
This REVA line looks fantastic! My wife is not interested in playing so I won’t look past this article. Maybe she’ll gain interest when we retire 🙂
That is really impressive they re-did the Ai10x face for the swing code of women golfers.

Was going to say the same thing.
@Sarzar
Could these kick the Adams Idea out of the bag?
*Dont look at the script, it’s not great, you don’t need to add more golf fits to the closet. ?
(sarcasm posted above)
I might have to take my wife down to look at these drivers. She has a Riva driver from 4 or 5 years ago, and she would love something else. She tried my AI smoke Max and did not hit it well, so need to try this one out.

Sounds like time for an upgrade, maybe a gift perhaps?
I forwarded the review to a lady friend who was just saying she wants a new driver. Her current driver is a TM that is 10 years old.
The 12.5 would probably be perfect for her since it’s a blend of new tech, but catered to a woman’s swing.
Love this write up and release. Very cool to see clubs tailored to women like this and not just a color change.
This whole release looks very good. Like really well done.
Very curious how the AI 10x face is different compared to the Elyte Ai 10X Face, like specifically where changes have been made for the miss. How different is the strike pattern on the ladies club compared to on the Elyte? Super neat that they would make changes like that, and not just implement the same pattern as the men’s product.
I think overall it is cool to catch a glimpse of how the tech evolves in the ladies product, and the changes they made in design for the tendencies of the players that the product is aimed at.
I know nothing about the ladies golf demographic, but in general is it more likely a female golfer will buy a Reva/Reva Rise product over say an Ai Smoke/Elyte that is fit to a ladies flex shaft?
I’m indifferent to the new Callaway script logo. I don’t know if I love it or hate it.
Great story. I was wondering the other day as I was thinking about trying to get my daughters into golf. Should woman’s clubs go away?
Is it bad to pigeon hole them with equipment. That has been through the shrink it and pink it process”. Rather than just have them get properly fit (assuming they want to be that committed) into just golf equipment that fits them.
I am not sure the correct answer. These are great for many woman. But I wonder if many feel like this is what they should do as they feel that everything else is “men’s clubs”.
Love this. I’ve been seeing more and more ladies coming in to be fit for new clubs. Can’t wait for these to be available
The script Callaway is done so well- Great write up.

I asked this very question to the product team and came away with a different appreciation.
These are not a replacement for Elyte or Apex. What they are is something different entirely, built for women specifically. No more simple color change and hatchet job and call it “ladies”. One quote stood out “This doesn’t replace Elyte or Apex, it complements it to a point to add legitimate options of females that have sought out more”

Sorry to derail the Reva Rise, I still think it is a great product and for sure see a need. I agree that this is a huge step up from the “shink it and pink it” motto.
