Is any company in golf balls having as much fun as Callaway? I really don’t think so.
You see, Truvis was a disruptor in the segment in more ways than just the hexagonal concept itself, because it didn’t take long for Callaway to see the possibilities for custom options. Years in, we have seen limited releases from Grandaddy logos all the way to tacos and donuts. Fortunately, the release of the new Chrome Tour golf balls looks to be picking up that tradition and running with it, starting with the April Major.

Callaway Tour Major Series: April Major
Yes, that major, the one that signals to most of us that the real Tour season is upon us, and it is time to settle in for the ride. I will openly admit though, my favorite part of it all might be the limited and special releases we see in preparation for Major season to open. Well, Callaway isn’t one to disappoint, and besides their limited headcovers and Tour bags is also a very cool golf ball.

The ball itself is the recently released Chrome Tour, which through early feedback not just on the THP Community but also worldwide, is already showing out as a force to be reckoned with. From its seamless aero design to the Hyper Fast Soft Core and into the new High Performance Tour Urethane Soft Cover, the Chrome Tour does it all.

This special release, however, is aesthetically driven. It features what Callaway is calling the “April Major flower patterns” and “springtime inspired flower pattern”, which we recognize as Azaleas. Implemented in the Truvis method, this is one of the coolest limited releases of the 2024 season in my opinion.
The Major Series April Major design will be priced at $54.99 a dozen and be available starting 4/8/24.
I’d pick up a sleeve just for the display case.
Although I am not a big fan of this type of ball (greatly prefer standard single colored balls), but these are very well done.
Oh wow I like this a lot actually. Probably one of the best I’ve seen from Callaway
Love the designs – usually play solid white but think these are tastefully done!
