Four of the best ever with their short game and you are given a genie who will grant their short game to you.
Trevino, Seve, Luke Donald or Mickelson.
You must choose from only these four. Who are you taking and why?

Seve. A most creative magician.
Wow, that’s tough. I keep changing my mind. I’ll go Trevino because he seems so instinctual and fun
Phil, mainly because he’s really the only one I’ve watched.
Seve
Mickleson as long as I could play right handed
Trevino. I covet any part of his game.
I am going Super Mex, because he is the frickin man. I would love to have his overall game, so freaking solid, including that short game.
Very simply it’d be Phil.
He’s creative, talented and confident. He has the ability to scramble from anywhere and leave himself a very manageable putt. Having that level of confidence in my game there would be a game changer for me in terms of strategy and scoring.

I’d play my wedges lefty and the rest of my clubs righty if I could have Phil’s short game!
Actually that would be kinda fun because it would freak people out. :ROFLMAO:
Luke. He was a better putter than all of them combined and for 2 years was light out from beside the green.
Any of them but from the highlights I’ve seve was a master
Didn’t see much of Seve. I’ll have to go with Phil.
If it’s just their short game and not their personality then I say Phil.. he’s a magician in the short game
Seve. His imagination…
Phil is the only one I really saw. Does short game include putting? If so, I’m not sure I ever saw a great palyer miss more short putts…and I sometimes felt like he avoided the easy option around the greens.
I think I’d pick Seve. The way people talk about his creativity and imagination is inspiring.
What I have read, I would take Seve.
Phil is persona non grata lately, but he has the single most creative short game I have ever seen.
The one guy I really envy though, and I know we all do, is vintage Tiger. You never saw any cool backwards flop shots from him, but he just didn’t make mistakes. It was all murderous consistency and it was totally immune to pressure.
I have always been a Trevino fan, but I have to go with Phil.
Seve was a magician, but I could never warm up to him, he always came off as a ticked off putz…..
Phil, when he played his best he had such an awesome short game.
There’s probably two people I’d like to replace on this list. But, choosing between what’s available…..I’d go Trevino
Seve, just a master.
Trevino for me. Here is my favorite Trevino quote: “Golf was invented by the same country that believes music comes out of a bagpipe!”
Seve, just seemed to have a wide array of shots, Phil is a very close second
I think Trevino…. was a big fan of his growing up and while I cannot deny Seve’s prowess in the short game… likely the best ever, I just have such fond memories of Lee Trevino, I’m sticking with him…. Now if i only could get the ability for great banter, to go along with that short game, who knows where that could take me….. hmmmm…
All are great options but Seve Ballesteros is the topper. Too bad his career, and later his life, were cut way too short. I wish more of our younger members had the opportunity to see his creative magic and swagger.
Seve, that cat had up and down skills like no other.
Seve. He was magical.

I watch all their instruction videos.
personally I like seve for putting and chipping
And Lefty for pitching and wedge play
Seve. So creative.
Mickelson for me in his prime, followed very closely by Seve.
Pretty sure I have to pick Seve…
Seve … he was a master of the short game. (y)
Seve hands down with no Tiger choice
Of the ones shown…I’m going Seve.
