New Gear Alert!
Cleveland Golf has a new version of their popular 2135 putter line coming out soon and THP TV has all of the details. The idea behind 2135 is that it is the only way, the alignment is directly behind the center of the golf ball. The first lineup came out a couple of years ago, and today we have a preview on the new Satin series.
There are a number of changes from shaping to milling and we figure what better way to give you the details than have them explained visually in this THP TV New Gear Alert segment.
Shot in 4k so THP recommends full screen viewing?

Interesting concept with the variable face milling.
I do like the aesthetics of these though.
The sharper lines look really good!
I’m a Cleveland fan and the new line looks good, particularly the Cero to me. I’ll certainly roll a few putts with them when the hit the stores. But, I’m not sure anything could displace my Huntington Beach #10 right now. We’ll see. 😉
Really like the look of the satin as compared to the black as the black didn’t look like it would wear well. That one on the right looks kinda Futura (elebago or whatever) like which piques the interest.
Add in some nice face milling, yes!
The Optimized Face Milling sounds interesting. Sounds like it negates the sensation of off-senter strokes which can have it’s good and bad points.
I’m always amazed that improvements can be made to an already solid piece of equipment. This putter was very well received by a few that I know so I know they’ll be excited.
I really would like to try out the 1.0 blade.
One of those 1.0 blade putters would be awesome! Really like the idea of the milling!
Looks like a lot of tech/research went into the milling pattern. Super neat.
One Elevado in Satin please! Looks like a very interesting change to the 2135 lineup!
I really would like to give that #1 a roll. I always am a fan of the blade style putters and that milling sounds like it would do feel great.
Any putter that can minimize the penalty for off-center strikes is probably a good thing. Will be interesting to how these do in the test phase.
The original 2135 are amazing putters and looking forward to seeing how these feel and roll with the milling!
Great video, really liked the bulls-eye graphic.
Improved speed optimized face milling, that will control speed speed on mishits? Yes please. Pretty cool that they did the milling differently by head shape.
I like the sharper line and sharper edges to help with the alignment.
My two choices would be either the 2135 ROH or the 8.0
Love the changes they made to the putter and the 2135 tech is proven to work. Still have the very first 2135 putter (6.5) and I’m always curious when they make a move to improve or better these putters. Well done Cleveland.
The Elevado is calling my name. Love the #7 style.
