As we approached the end of 2020, Cobra Golf dropped a new limited edition putter called the KING SuperSport that was both weird and amazing at the same time. When I say “weird”, I don’t necessarily mean the looks or performance, which were quite good, but rather moving the technology needle with the implementation of 3D printing.

After a quick sell out of the limited edition drop, we fast forward to May of 2021 and Cobra launched the KING 3D Printed and Vintage Series putters. That brings us to now and today Cobra is adding a new line called Black, which perfectly compliments the company’s Limited Edition Black LTDx driver and KING Black wedges.

While the putters are identical to the standard models, with the exception of the finish, Cobra’s black 3D Printed putters carry over the same technology with a 3D printed nylon lattice cartridge, which is designed to optimize weight distribution. In regular terms, this weighs less, to allow the designer to move the weight to offer better stability and higher overall MOI.
This isn’t only a makeover, however, there is some new to go along with this finish. The new models include the Agera 30 (Slant Neck OS Mallet) and Supernova 20 & 30 (Slant Neck OS Fangs). Models staying in line include the Grandsport-35 plumber, SuperNova single bend, and Agera single bend in black & silver finish options.

In addition to those new 3D Printed options, Cobra is also offering a new Cuda mallet shape and new hosel additions to the KING Vintage Series line.
The entire line of Cobra putters will continue to feature the SIK Aluminum face insert with Descending Loft Technology (DLT) as well as an Adjustable Weighting System that allows for simple weight adjustments (additional weights sold separately).

All KING Collection putters (3D Printed $349 each, Vintage $249 each) come standard with a Cobra SuperStroke Traxion Tour 2.0 grip and KBS Tour 120 shaft. The new additions to the KING 3D Printed and Vintage series will be available at retail and on their website beginning on May 6, 2022. For more information on the entire KING family of products visit cobragolf.com.

We. Like that.
I like the new Cuda model!
I really like the black finish, with the slight brushed looked. The Agera looks really nice:

Love the black finish. Will have to look into this line again.

Right!
I’ve been all in on the wide sport since September but the Cuda is really interesting

The plumber’s neck would have my attention too.
This was needed! and it’s awesome! Pretty sure I’ll be bagging the Cuda this season

This is the one!
MC bags going to be on fire!!!
Oooooh these are going to make some people happy, MC team members and otherwise. That Widesport looks slick.
Umm yep. I’m all about these. Can’t wait to game one this year
These look good. New shape. Lots to process. New hostel options for the supernova are very nice. I might pick one up. Current supernova is a shockingly nice putter. ?
I love that these are different. Not the same old style with huge price tag. Cobra nailed it with the 3d printed tech and looks are second to none. Cant wait to have em in the bag.

That one!
This fit right up my alley. I have gone dark finish on my last three putters. Still intrigued by the innovation of using 3D printing.
These look super nice. Cobra has probably the most underrated putters on the market
Really a nice looking line with some tech we can appreciate!
The Agera looked weird to me when it came out last year, but this black model is much more subdued. I’d be more willing to give it a look now.
The Widesport is intriguing, too, but it’ll be hard to knock the Supernova out of my bag.
Love me some dark putters and they did a great job with these. Really sharp and I think will do very well.
May need to get a fitting done so I can see if other necks would work better. Kinda stuck in my head on the double bend and don’t look at anything else.
Ohhh look sharp, would like to give that Cuda a roll or two.
Interesting to me that these seem to have avoided the Hot List while the irons did not yet have the tag on Cobra’s website
some really nice looking stuff this year!
Also like to add I’m a fan of the grip change….at least on paper

Widesport only available in left hand on their website…did they sell out of right handed putters already in that model?

I know lots of people cut the other one off immediately, but I liked the original Lamkin Sinkfit.
This one is 44 g lighter, too. That seems like a big change.

Those three lines are what attracts my eye to this putter. The single line on the Agera is my only downside. But I don’t know how a different alignment lines could have been pulled off with that shape/design.
Interesting that they still have the Sik face. I was thinking that partnership was done after LA Golf purchased Sik so glad to see it is still here.

We were snooping on the website before the announcement and there were a couple already listed as backordered, so I’m guessing it’s component delays and not being sold out already
Those are putters I could rock.
Hmm… interesting!!

Probably the Supernova. A mallet face balanced putter works best for my stroke.
That Cuda is going to be the one, I can feel it in my bones. The alignment aids just shout at me, can’t wait!

All of Cobra’s black line this year is so nice. Do Morgan Cuppers get to choose from this new release?

I like it on paper too…but wish they had a blacked out shaft stock with these…
Those look great i still have not rolled one of these outside.
Love it. Color was one of my only complaints with last year’s line. The OG Supernova could get a bit glare-y on sunny days. I don’t usually have buyer’s remorse, but this is one instance I definitely wish I would have waited. This may be worth a sell & re-purchase…

I know it’s the easiest thing to replace, but couldn’t agree more. Also the Arccos grip meant you had to put a 1/4″ extension in if you wanted to regrip.
