Rickie Fowler put this driver in play and in his first week at the Hero World Challenge, picked up the win. Jose and Michael Vrska talk about tour players, consistency and more in this THP TV episode from the 2018 PGA Show.

Well done and very informative. The more I learn about the new F8 line the more I would like to try it.
This was really good, like hearing about what goes into these with the professionals via their feedback. Getting Cobra that immediate tour validation was a great start to this one and I would imagine a big confidence boost for Rickie for 2018.
Great info, I was a bit curious as to what exact benefits I can expect to see with a face like this. Love hearing what they’re saying and my testing so far has been very positive. I can’t wait to get a new F8 in my bag for 2018!
Big win for Rickie and even bigger win for Cobra. I just hit the F8 this weekend, Oh wow! 10 -15 yards longer. It will definitely be in the bag soon. I didn’t realize they had been working on the milled face for two years. A lot of innovation and dedication going on at Cobra.
Very informative video! Well done guys! It was interesting to hear that it typically took 15 or so iterations before getting the right setup for a pro like Ricky Fowler, and how much the CNC milling of the face helps with this process. Really looking forward to trying this driver!
That was a great interview. I never realized how much inconsistency there could be in a driver face and CNC milling it makes perfect sense. I love seeing that Cobra is the first company to bring that out.
Great video!
Nice tags showing Rickie’s setup. I had no idea that they use a bunch of heads and pack it with weight to find the right fit for him since he plays the shorter shaft
I’am interested in trying out the F8+ as an average golfer I’am always looking at improved accuracy, without loss of distance. The CNC milling is gives the club face a unique look.
Great discussion. Ive hit this club and i can say that it IS different in a good way. Milled driver faces FTW!
got a chance to take a few swipes with the f8+ not long ago and i was seriously impressed. hands down the best sounding driver i’ve ever hit. launch and distance was surprisingly good, but i would go with the f8 in a fitting being a lower spin guy. cobra’s 2018 lineup is fantastic!
I can’t wait to try out the F8 Since I am a high cap player I need all the Help I can get.
Its neat they have taken 2.5 years to develop the milling technique and didn’t rush it in order to get it right.
