What is it like to go through a Cobra OPTM Fitting at their Tour Fitting Experience at Encinitas Ranch Golf Course in California?
We decided to bring the cameras to follow the entire thing. Using only the innovative FutureFit33 adapter we were able to fine tune every aspect of ball flight for a perfect fit.
From baseline swings to precision adjustments, this fitting shows how small changes in loft and weighting can make a big difference in distance and accuracy.
Have you tried the innovation that Cobra has put into FutureFit33 that can help you dial in your own game for both distance and dispersion? The video above breaks down how it can help and get the most out of your game.
After watching, what did you think of the Cobra OPTM fitting? Is it something you would be interested in doing?

Going off memory I believe right around 8 degrees.
And some weight added to the heel side and moving it up front.
I know blasphemy that draw bias on tour…

recent video I saw of him with Johnny Wunder, he said it was about 6.5 degrees

That is the stated loft, correct.

6.5 degree head with an 8x ventus black tipped two inches, not sure I could get the ball more than 10 feet off the ground
Great video, I like these lkind of posts
man now i want to go hit one of these
Great video! I definitely enjoyed hitting the X earlier this year. The adapter is honestly a big reason I grabbed a DS-Adapt hybrid and fairway for this year. Being able to adjust with so many options is such a huge benefit.
Awesome video! Lots of great info sprinkled in. Really makes me want to find an OPTM X here locally to give a try.
Question for those that tuned in. Do you like stuff like this? There is more to this fitting in the top of the bag but I didn’t want to take too much of your time.
What else would you like to see that could be included?

100% yes, i love this stuff. fitting videos that break down the numbers, what could be improved upon, and the why/how of what they’re doing to improve. with lots and lots and lots of data.
i also love to see longer form instruction videos. and playing lessons.

I love this kind of content and would see more of it. If you don’t want to take people’s time, split it into multiple videos perhaps, but I wouldn’t mind seeing a full hour long fitting for someone (in fact, I watched one this week).
Would also be happy seeing brand agnostic fittings and/or head-to-head model comparison videos. While some may not care about someone else’s swing with XYZ equipment, I think the data is interesting and entertaining, and there’s definitely a viewer market for it (see 2nd swing content during release season)

I’ll watch all the fitting videos you can provide. I love seeing how the fitter works through things to find the best fit

I dont think most people want to sit through an hour of that haha.
There will be another video coming from this though that I hope to make around the same length as this one.

I absolutely love watching this stuff. Getting to hear the extra stuff from a knowledgeable fitter about the clubs like the note he made about the Max-K not being a good fit for your low ball miss.
Same with getting to see your previous TPI wedge fitting and hearing your conversation with the fitter there. What you get fit into likely isn’t going to be similar to mine as you swing much faster and better, but getting to hear the conversation on how you get there is super helpful.

I think splitting it into manageable videos is a wise move.

Yes. It was a great video.
I would definitely want to see more. I like hearing the why from the fitter. The, “your miss is low, thus the max k on a low miss isn’t the best because it spins too high”. That’s good stuff. I’d love similar stuff throughout the bag but that 15ish minutes max per episode is about right so continue to break it down by category I’d say.
Great Video, Thanks for sharing.
I would love to get a fitting at the Tour Fitting Experience at Encinitas Ranch Golf Course in California. Now I want to see more!!

I love stuff like this with the extra knowledge, like how swapping the weights changed to flight, dropped in. One club per 10-15 minute video seems about right to me.

Loving the videos guys! Fascinating with the amount of OPTM options to dial in the correct fit.

I like it.
Allows me to play the video and listen while on a drive. Sure ideally I can see the video but just listening to the conversation and the knowledge being imparted is great. Many times when I can’t forum and this is a great alternative.
This is great and the FF33 is hard to beat

OPTM X 10.5 with UST Lin-Q PowerCore Blue – FF33 Setting is D6

That’s surprising to me. He lofted you up when your ball speed dropped and you improved on more than just that number. I’ll have to watch back through to see why loft isn’t everything but that was fun. And now I have more reasons to test different settings to see what my body and brain like best.
Love the fitting content! I’m here for more of it.

Absolutely love this content @Lord Tox. I think the length is perfect for one club, although I’d def consume a more in depth video that goes through full bag.
For new content, my first thought was a putter fitting. Seeing how shape, hosel, and other factors could contribute to better putting performance.
Those strikes sounded so good. I love that Cobra has the outdoor fitting at Encinitas Ranch.
I love how he’s walking you through what an why he’s doing! Great fitting and results!

A good fitter who can explain why they’re making the choices they make for you is so awesome. Just gives you so much confidence in what you’re fit to

Yes, but they can rarely explain the process and thought so clearly and coherently. Of course him being a Cobra fitter helps a lot. But in my experience, that kind of a fitting is not the norm.
@Lord Tox great video. I hit this driver inside but not outside yet. Looking forward to doing that soon hopefully.
