I wonder how much the club is paying his design company to let him do whatever he wants to the course.

Not sure there are enough holes left but it’s possible
Justin Thomas says hi.
Wonder how Palmer plays out of creeks….?
He needs some Phil level short game wizardry right now.
Pretty decent contact actually. Too good.
Beautiful touch there
“taylormade could sponsor a serial killer and they would love him”
He is super nice. Met him a few times and was nice each and every time.
Oscillating is allowed. Aka move but winds up in the same spot
Classy move. Nice to see

They’re looking at it. That would hurt!
Looked like he was pressing that grass down behind the ball, trying to improve his lie.
I thought they didn’t allow Karens to call in complaints anymore.
IMO that is definitely not a penalty.
Wouldn’t be the first time – but I’ve always thought that was one of the more stupid rules in golf. But pressing the grass down to improve his lie is kind of a Patrick Reed move, whether the ball moved or not.
I agree in most situations, although it did look like trying to flatten the lie. On purpose? Who knows, probably not, but even in real time it moved.
Not yet. They haven’t even come to a decision yet.
Hard to say for sure. That’s so tough to call I think but it’s kind of a dumb rule. If the ball rolled more than it did maybe but it was so slight
IMO they should definitely be telling him it is even under review. Not right to let the player continue without letting him know his score is being looked at.
the reason i think it’s a penalty is that i don’t like rahm
At least you’re honest ?
Right. I think they told DJ during the US open a few years ago. I think it was DJ, maybe someone else.
To counter that, if they review, tell the player who then lets it impact his play, and it turns out they don’t rule it a penalty, you have affected the play without the need to.
They might be too afraid to tell him, he’s not a small dude.
This is exactly the reason the penalty is written without intent.
If this was Bryson or Reed, most might have a different opinion
