It’s US Open week and to celebrate Titleist being the #1 ball at the tournament for the 70th consecutive year, we are giving away some of these cool Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf balls with the America Logo. They also feature the #70 to commemorate the statistic, but don’t worry, if you don’t win, you can head over to MyTitleist.com and customize yours as well.
If you have not messed around with the MyTitleist golf ball creator, there are literally thousands of combinations you can put together to make your favorite ball your own. Being in the Father’s Day spirit, here is one that brings back memories of an old Seinfeld episode…or my father. The site has your favorite MLB teams, NCAA and even the military logos to go along with a number of icons to make identifying your ball easier.
Odds are Dad is not looking too stylish, so we are also giving away the new DFT Collection hats. DFT stands for Direct From Tour and these are the same hats that the players are wearing this week at Shinnecock. The iconic Red, White and Blue from the USA hats will have you ready for July 4th on the course.
The three different hats are the USA DFT Tour Flat Bill, that features the USA flag inspired tone on tone underbill and has a mesh back for breathability. The USA DFT Tour Snapback Mesh has a semi-curve bill and with a firm mesh back and the Titleist proprietary snapback closure and finally the USA DFT Tour Performance Hat (my personal favorite) has the standard curve and is very light weight and moisture wicking.
Contest
Three winners are going to be selected and each one will receive a brand new USA DFT Collection hat with the Grand Prize winner also receiving the custom golf balls of their choice. Entering only takes a second or two, so follow the steps below.
How to Enter
Father’s need style and of course they need golf balls. Tell us in the comments section below why your father needs (or needed) both and why he chose to play Titleist golf balls. That is it, then sit back and pay attention to the THP Forum for the winners announced on Father’s Day.
Don’t forget if you don’t win, head over to MyTitleist.com for a chance to pick up this gear directly.
Good luck everybody.
My dad doesn’t currently play, but it’d be cool to be able to start him off right with some Titleist gear and balls.
My Dad thinks he is better golfer than me when it comes to his golf game! He is a pretty good golfer but there are two things keeping him from achieving that:
1. The Bushnell will help him control his irons on his second shots. He can’t hit it as long as I can so this is critical to know the exact distances.
2. I love the motto “if you look good, you play good and if you play good you get paid!” Those titleist hats will help him shave off a couple strokes. They look a lot better than his Puma hats he likes to wear.
My dad and I love playing golf and watching some tournaments when the PGA tour comes to Texas. This would be a great Father’s Day gift. I just became a dad myself. We are planning on playing in a tournament down in Myrtle Beach with his buddies. We would love to be able to look good and play good together!
My Dad doesn’t really play golf but I do and I am a Dad of twin boys and they are too young to enter me in this contest. First off the hat is right up my alley with the Red, White and Blue theme just absolutely love that #USA and being able to game custom USA themed golf balls made by Titleist would be awesome!! Good luck to all that enter and Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads out there.
Need a lift me up in my life right now. I use ProV1X. With nothing going right it sure would be nice.
I Think my pops could usesome new AVX balls. His game would benefit from less spin and more yards off the tee, while at the same time keeping spin levels up on irons and wedges.
I’m a dad who golfs. You can’t have too many hats, I keep telling my wife. Lol. I need more balls to. My dad passed away many years ago and I never got the chance to share my love for the game. But my daughter has been my golfing buddy and we have a great time each round.
I used my dads golf balls so he could use some new ones he has taught me a lot about golf ??
Dad got me back into golf in 16 after a long layoff and one of the first things he did was give me a bunch of Titleist balls. I just recently got dad, my brother and myself matching Titleist hats with UK on them to show our support for our beloved UK Wildcats. My dad likes to play the best and look the best when he is on the course. That is why he loves Titleist.
My dad never played golf but he always wore a hat and appreciated a quality product. If he did play I’m sure he would have chosen Titleist. He was also a veteran so the America theme fits perfectly. I play Titlist clubs and balls.

Awesome contest thanks! My dad just picked up golfing at the age of 67 and has had a couple lessons so far. We will be playing our first round in a couple weeks and he could definitely use this stuff as he doesn’t have anything for golfing yet!
