Earlier this year, we introduced the new line of putters from Odyssey Golf called EXO with an in depth discussion with Sean Toulon. The conversation covers everything about the creation of EXO including the subtle sound differences and why they matter to players at the highest level.
Fast forward a few months and we just held a THP Event with Odyssey Golf at the beautiful Haig Point Golf Club on Daufuskie Island in South Carolina. There the forum member participants got new EXO putters, a ton of swag and to play with the designers and marketing team of the line and learn all about it at one of the most beautiful backdrops imaginable. You can read their reviews of the models here.
Today we are going to give away a brand new Odyssey EXO Indy Putter complete with this super limited Odyssey cover to go with it.

Being able to get the ball properly lined up and start rolling on the correct like would make it a perfect putter for me.
Wow, Michael, you watched that several minute long video in seconds…I kid I kid : )
A putter that “rolls quicker & skids less” sounds like the ideal putter for me. Plus the Exo 7 is just so damn sexy!
The roll enhancing face technology that is incorporated in the EXO Indy is something I could certainly use to help take my putting to another level.
The firmer feeling and improved acoustics coupled with the forward rolling prowess sounds like a winning combination to me.
What a great sit down with Sean Toulon! Really interesting listening to him. For me personally, I LOVE the look of all the EXO putters, but besides the look, the firmer face insert has me really interested in testing this putter out. Thanks THP and Odyssey!!!!
The Indy EXO is the putter for me because the headshape makes me say “OH MY GOD” the (very limited) non pizza box headcover makes me say “OH MY GOD” The putter rolls quicker, skids less (I’m a big skidder) and has the massive MOI I need in my life. Also I want my ear drums to welcome the sound of 73 newly re imagined decibels to my golf game. IF I win it will be a big “OH MY GOD” Moment.
Really great video and description of the new technology. I’ve been holding onto my White Ice 6 for several years because I like the insert and weight and hesitating to switch to a mallet or other (willing though). It was really interesting to hear Sean describe why the pros stick with the White Hot inserts and haven’t switched yet. Sounds like with the Exo insert you get great design, forward roll and the experience you would get with the classic Odyssey tools. Cool that they take sounds into account when designing. Love to win one but will likely demo one if I don’t! Thanks for the great content.
The sound/feel would be the best for me. I found the original Microhinge to be too soft for me as well as traditional Odyssey inserts which is why I’ve always gravitated to milled putters. This new combination tech however would likely hit that sweet spot I’ve always searched for. I would love to give it a go!
Having gamed an Odyssey for the last couple of years I would love the chance at rolling one with better alignment aid. The micro hinge face has my attention, it would be just what I need on the Bermuda greens at my home course.
Thanks for the chance.
I used a Odyssey putter for 15 years, then bought some other new fangled putter. I did better with the Odyssey. I liked the red 7 and would love to give it a try.
I love the O-works insert so far on my #7, getting that roll with a bit more of the sound that I’m used to on other putters sounds great. I’ve always been a fan of the Indy shape, would love to give it a shot.
For me I feel the shape will help me with alignment and getting the ball rolling quicker would be helpful. With my putting I often get the bumpy-skidding start of the putt and reducing that should help me hole more putts
The rolls quicker and less skid is an interest fact that would benefit me the most. Another interesting fact was the way Sean described forward roll and sound relation. Very cool.
Not an entry because it looks like the Exo Indy doesn’t come LH but it’s a beautiful putter. Good luck guys!
I’ve had such trouble finding a putter that works for me without skidding. The fact that Sean has so much data on the subject makes me thinks this could be the one! And I love the idea of having much more useful sound feedback in my stroke.
mr toulon, your bringing the sexy back in this golf club, i need this in the bag ball speed is a must in my short game. i need to drain putts using the EXO in my bag ship me one
“OMG I have got to have that putter!” Forward roll matters, with the Roll enhancing face. I like how Sean also got the sound to 73 just like the older white face putters.
Roll enchanting face tech has to help me! Forward roll is going to be key, especially since I use my putter a lot during a round, from off the green, and at times, out of the rough, I trust my putting stroke and putter way more than I do a wedge. Combine the forward roll with the massive MOI in a super attractive head and I’d say Odyssey knocked it out of the park on this one!
Eliminating the skipping and getting it to roll naturally, i should be able to control the distance better
I’m loving the fact that the Indy made it to the exo line. Sounds like a winner. Plus helps skid less? Yes please. I think what really does it, is knowing that they are always trying to be better than last time so the consumer really wins.
First, I love the look and then add the crazy MOI and the increased roll you get from this putter, it is just perfect for this old man!! Based on Sean’s description, it sounds like the sound and feel will be as good as it looks!! The putter cover would be incredible to have also!! Thanks for the opportunity!!!
The firmness of the face to enhance acoustics and feel is right up my alley. Feel and sound with a putter is a huge selling point for me. -Ft Worth Golfer
4 words. Roll enhancing face technology. Not exactly sure what that is still haha, but the way Sean describes it, it would benefit me by reducing skid and increasing roll on all my putts. I would also help me make everyone jealous of my new sick looking flat stick as I roll in putts all around the green. Thanks!
This is the putter for me. Good looks make for a happy golfer which lead to more success. Proven performance and the roll enhancement along with being “right-sized” (small vs brick on a stick) make it attractive, can’t wait to use it!
The immediate forward roll combined with the firmer feeling insert is definitely helpful in draining more putts!
My two biggest issues in putting is getting forward roll along with better alignment. Seems like when I get one started the other goes away. Another help would be the harder face of the putter against the softer ball that I play with in-turn would give me a better feel. Of course the icing on the cake is the sick putter cover!
I think the firmer feel would help my putting greatly. I’ve played Odyssey for 20 years and would love to try out the newest model. Plus it looks fantastic.
Impart forward roll more quickly.
Rolling quicker with less skid is what I think excites me the most about this line.
I like that it’s constructed with different types of metal with specific functionality. It seems like there was a lot of thoughts went into creating this line of putters!

For me, the increased forward roll would be very attractive, but what I think would sell me the putter would be the slightly firmer feel over the microhinge or oworks. I think this would give me a little more feedback, and help me hone in my stroke over the course of the season.
The roll enhancing face tech would definitely help my putting!!!
I love my Odyssey 2-Ball, but watching this video has helped me realize I need to invest in a putter that has a more advanced face material. Being able to keep the feel of the White Hot and adding Microhinge to get the ball rolling end-over-end faster would be….lust-worthy.
I thought it was interesting when Sean was talking about the microhinge and sound feedback. I tried rolling the microhinge and it was the lack of feedback that deterred me, so if this can truly solve the feedback aspect while getting the ball rolling quicker I am 100% in.
The lack of skidding and consistently getting the ball rolling faster would be huge for me. Right now, I feel like getting a good roll is really hit or miss.
I’m not finding the lust for the Indy shape. And that’s one reason I am interested in this putter: why is that? I struggle with putting and higher MOI with a roll enhanced face should be really appealing to me. I had a white hot putter previously and didn’t like the sound and feel, and that specific improvement was specifically addressed. So everything here seems pretty darn great for a golfer like me. BTW, I do find lust for the coloring scheme. These look fantastic!
Sean says it best; I want people to be wowed when they see this thing. Way to say it PG. I said DAMN that thing is a must have. I worry that the other clubs in my bag will stop working after feeling the shame of having to share a bag with that thing. A+.
I would benefit from the roll enhancement technology. Beautiful putters. I want one!
There are several things that stand out abou This putter that Sean mentioned in this video that would help my game, most notably the deeper CG and alignment aids. Really dig how the ball is framed and man, the roll is perfect.
Like he said: O my God I don’t need this putter, but I have to have it!
Getting the ball rolling quicker is a big factor for me. But the biggest is the alignment aids… they don’t call me Davey 3 putts for nothing.
My current putter is an Odyssey 7H and even though I love the putter and don’t need another, as Sean said the new EXO is a sexy beast that I just WANT! The roll enhancing face technology to get the ball up and rolling quicker, thereby reducing skidding will improve shots on goal. The lowered center of gravity allowing for maximum MOI in a lighter and smaller head is a fantastic advancement by Odyssey. The Retuned face and the stainless/6061 aluminum add those intangible traits to help improve feel, something I don’t notice with my 7H, but am eager to do a side by side comparison. I WANT IT!
Sean and JB make “must see” YouTube videos. Sean nailed it when he started the interview by saying players should lust EXO putters. This is very easy to do and I’m sure many people will lust both the style and performance. Good luck to everyone. FYI – this is not an entry.
Love the look – I know the new Exo 7 putter would help my game with the improved feet, I don’t have good feel, the sound of it would be a huge help!
“Feeling the sound” must make these putters a must for any golfer. Putting demands feedback and to see the putt go where it should must give the golfer so much confidence
Visually it just looks the part
One thing that stands out that Sean said was the fact that the putter instantly grabs your attention because of the looks and I absolutely agree the Indy is gorgeous. The next thing was the roll is so important and the EXO design focuses on improving that. I would love to lip into the cup with the Indy instead of lipping out with another putter.
The idea behind changing the insert to address the change in sound is really neat. I know personally that the sound is one of the major considerations when I am trying out putters. Add in the advances with Exo, as well as the benefits of the Indy model, and there are all kinds of advances there.
Would really love a chance to see how the new combination could improve my putting game! Thank you for the opportunity THP and Odyssey Golf!
The high moi to get the ball rolling, along it’s intended path, along with the insert for feel, touch, and control, would surely help shave some strokes off each round. No more 3 putts!
Good luck all!

Getting the ball rolling truer with the improved putter face tech would be great for my scoring. And adding such a pretty club never hurts
