We are calling this #TechJourney and it is going to be a lot of fun and being held on the THP Facebook Page. Your job is to guess the distance difference over the course of 25 years (more explained below). The lucky winner is going to get a THP Equipment Prize Pack that is JUST AWESOME and has some brand new equipment in it. You never know what is going to show up, but you know it is going to be great.
What is Tech Journey
We took 6 golfers and put them on the brand new Foresight Sports GCQuad and they took 10 swings with a brand new Callaway Golf Epic at 9* set to standard and 10 swings with a Wilson Whale Persimmon Wood 9* Driver. They alternated clubs after each swing and THP recorded the data. These clubs came out 25 years apart and one is a maple construction and one features composite materials and Jail Break technology. Both used a graphite shaft as the Epic had a Project X HZRDUS T-800 stiff shaft and the Whale had a Firestick in stiff.
Golfer Info: All 6 golfers had driver swing speeds between 95 and 105.
