I don’t understand the need for L or R on a sock. ?
I have a pair of Nike socks with L and R on the toe. There was a single swoosh at the top of each sock. The L/R was to ensure the swoosh was on the outside of the leg. Since that’s the only pair I have that’s like that I don’t remember until the first sock is on. If the swoosh is on the inside, that’s where it stays. I’m not switching.
One more decision I’d have to make when I’m half awake in the morning.
I don’t make that decision, if I get lucky enough to get them on the correct foot, it is a bonus.
Well I mean with everyone talking about all the socks that do have an L and R, I’m just back to not being completely certain. It’s still possible that I got 12 left footed socks and 0 right footed that also happen to be large in size.
We’ll just never know at this point…
It’s hard to believe that a week ago I was getting on a plane to go to this experience.

My under armour golf socks have an L and R sock
I’m sad I missed your thought. You definitely had this one right.
I do have under armour golf socks though that have an L and R sock.
I have Nikes with L and Rs. The sock is actually contoured in the toes so that if you put them on the wrong foot, you’d be very aware of the mistake.
I also have Evolve Motionwool socks that are all Ls because they are Larges
I like the idea that you have 12 lefts instead though. Makes it more fun
Well, after a crazy week at work and home, I finally finished this thread. Such a great read, man. These events are so amazing. It was great to see @JasonFinleyCG live in action again. No disrespect to any other sponsors here, but no one stirs the forum drink like Finley at an event. Watching stills of @+7 KPTT golf swing next to mine make me want to gouge my eyes out with a grapefruit spoon. #timetogrind.
So good to see my guy @BigDill again (even if it was only in pictures). Anyone who has had a chance to meet him knows that he’s one of the most genuine people that you will ever meet. He’s the “I’d travel a long way to play golf and hang out with that guy” type. As, I’m sure, all of the participants of this (and every) event are. And, in the end, that’s the lasting value of any of these events. The swag? Off the charts. The equipment? Always top notch. The venues? Mind blowing. Every, Single. Time. The friendships fostered? The life changers. The rock star of the show. And, in the end, the only lasting thing that truly matters. And that is what is so cool about this place. I haven’t had the chance yet to attend an official THP event but I was fortunate enough to get together with about 24 of them this past September and, though we lacked the swag, and the equipment, and @JB punching us in the eye for slow play, the THP spirit and vibe was all there. It was like meeting brothers that you were separated at birth from and meeting them in real life for the first time. There isn’t a single guy in that group who, if they called me and said “I’m in trouble. I need you here”, that I wouldn’t book the soonest flight out and get my @ss out there to help.
That’s what I love so much about these events. The internet golf porn stuff is next level, for sure. But knowing that these guys all just made lifetime friends is the coolest aspect of these events. I know that @JB and @GolferGal prefer to deflect the credit for these types of things but the fact of the matter is: none of these guys would have an inkling of who each other was if not for the for the tremendous amount of work that they (and the sponsors) put into these events. At it’s core, it truly is one of those “my life was better because of…” things. They both deserve a tremendous amount of credit for that even if they choose to deflect it.
Remember the heartbreak you had when you found out that Santa Claus wasn’t real? In a lot of ways, this place is my Santa Claus. It embodies a little circle of hope that is very real for all of us that eagerly anticipate the participation of these events. I just hope no one ever comes along and tells me “It isn’t real” before I get the invite to one of these amazing gatherings…….
Thanks so much everyone for, yet, another amazing follow. Can’t wait until next month, baby!

After seeing @jfox789 hit a few at the PGA Superstore after the experience, I‘m looking forward to finding out his choice. :D. He was hitting one of the hybrids very well.

I am leaning towards the Epic in the 16 degrees, then turning it down to 15 replacing my 3 wood. Would love to get a HZRDUS Green in this hybrid. It would be absolute fire. Love HZRDUS in my other hybrid, and it just feels so easy to swing through the ball.

Great recap @robrandalgz!
Welp, I got fitted this morning. First time in a long time. Really fun experience.
I am pleasantly surprised by the results. I thought I would get put into TCBs, but I need more bounce, so the Callaway Apex 21’s are perfect. Hit a lot of shots with the 7 iron, and it feels like everything went into a 12ftx12ft box. I thought the dispersion with my Apex MBs was good, but these were incredible.
I did try the Epic hybrid and the UW hybrid, and I have no idea how to choose between them. I hit them both really well, and the fitter agreed they are phenomenal clubs. This will be a tough one. I may need to go back this afternoon or tomorrow.
BTW this was not a Callaway fitter. This was my local expert fitter. I tried about 6 or 7 brands, but the Callaways were so pure up and down the bag.
Really glad Finley and Keenan talked about fitting and the importance of fitting. Can’t wait to get into the new clubs.

New irons acquired!! Used the Callaway Pre-Owned site for the first time. The customer service rep hooked it up, and they will price match if they go on sale for Black Friday. Plus, the agent knew Finley!
Trading in my MBs for the APEX. Callaway Pre-Owned does not have the same backorder issues, so I will have them shortly! :bananadance:

To close the loop here and after an epic battle in my head (pun intended), I went with the Apex UW in a 17 with a HZRDUS Black RDX 80g X shaft.
The UW launched rockets and the 17 degree is long enough to replace my 3 wood which I am very happy to replace. High launch low spin really nice carry and angle of descent.
Wish I had asked Keenan more about the difference between HZRDUS Black and HZRDUS Black RDX because there is not a lot online but in the endliked what I read about the RDX and fibers in the shaft.
I was almost certain I would go with the Epic hybrid until I hit the UW. The Epic is a great club toojust my spin numbers were a little high and the consistency of the UW is unmatched.
Can’t wait to get this in the bag with my new Callaway irons. Really going to round out my gear. Let’s go take it low!!!

Super hybrids look awesome! Curious how the smoke black combo pairs!
I woke up thinking about the Match Course today, and this experience as a whole. I still talk to Jfox and Carolina Dundee DAILY, things like golf, to side hustles, to NFT’s to you name it.
That Match Course was awesome though. I want to experience that again in a friendly competition with 7 others. I mean PGA National will obviously be spectacular to relive through the pros with the Honda Classic coming up, but the uniqueness of the Match Course in not only it’s design to pick any tee length, but just the overall holes and layout has definitely stuck with me as one of my all time favorite courses. I love a good Stranz design and it had a little bit of that feel. I just hope the monster golf resorts follow suit and put one like it into their mix.

It definitely was fun to play a round on the match course. Aside from the strategy involved as far as tee selection, there were other aspects that made playing the course interesting. One was the design. I liked that many of the tees in addition to giving the choice of distance also provided different angles of play for the holes.
I would love to have the opportunity to play the course again or any other similar type “match” course.

Totally agree. Love that we still talk every day and definitely the best part of that experience. Just like the Granddaddy or any THP even. You walk away with an awesome group of golf buddies.
The match play course was a blast. Match play is already really fun and then add the unique course and tee picking component makes it even better. Not to mention I’m obsessed with the Callaway UW. Win or lose this event was top-notch a total blast.
I without a doubt would fly back for a match play tournament. Especially, if you or @Carolina Dundee (Popalicous aka Popalina Dundee aka Coach Pop aka Cant Stop Wont Stop All the Pops) was my partner.
