Went to a little sausage shop today in the old Polish neighborhood in Beertown. Little old Polish guy makes everything himself. I just had a big fresh liverwurst with sliced vidalia onions and Dusseldorf mustard on German sour dough rye sandwich. Tomorrow it's fresh Polish and Hungarian sausage, and yes, there will be more Vidalia onions.

I love those big vidalia onions.You can almost peel, slice and at by themselves, buy you can have my liverwurst!
 
I live about an hour from vidalia.
 
never had liverwurst. have heard its great and have heard its horrible
 
First time I have seen this thread but man o man these Vidalia onions are the best in the world. Always look forward to the new crop.
 
They are amazing and with some spicy/beer mustard...heaven!

I use Vidalia's just about anytime a recipe calls for onions. Love to use them in my fajitas!
