When I aim right with my driver, I am tending to mis hit it. Almost a shank. I can't tell if changing my stance from straight to the target to aiming right is causing me to hit the ball on the toe or if I'm hitting it on the hosel. When I make the adjustment in my stance to aim right, should I get a little closer to the ball or farther away?

Thanks. JackM

We need to double check your alignment and ball position. IF you only find the heel when you are aiming to the right my fear is that you are just moving your left foot closer to the ball and in effect moving the ball closer to you.

At the range lay down 2 clubs parallel to each other and aim them to the right side of the range. 1 club is the target line for the club the other is for your feet. Make sure your feet are equal distance away from the club and that your face is in line with the second club. Hit from there and tell me what you get.
