I am a right handed golf player and I recently took a lesson where the instructor had me work on my grip. Today at the range I was using that grip and was pretty consistently hitting everything right. Not a slice but right of the target by 30-45ft. So, I rotated my stance left and it helped me get closer to the target.

I know rotating left isn't a permanent fix so can you tell me some possible reasons for consistenly hitting right?

Thanks for your time!

It sounds to me like he has your grip correct, but you are having a hard time releasing your club head. You need to start to really go after a release. Try to get your forearms to touch post impact. Keep working on forcing this until you start to see a ball go too far right. This release with the grip change will get you where you want to go.

Thanks so much for the advice. I am headed to the range this afternoon and I have a round planned for Sunday. Wish me luck!
