Who's ya caddy?
Recently I was doing some background research about writer and golfer, Vivian Saunders.
For those of you who may not know, Vivian Saunders, has written a bunch of handy instructional books, including co-authoring with Nick Faldo and Bernhard Langer.
My research originally was to try and locate the two books she co-authored with Faldo but along the way something that struck me was her fascinating life story.
She is a woman of immense character and has had to overcome, discrimination, based on her gender, and harsh treatment by the golfing authorities when they revoked her amateur status.
During her life she has been a touring pro, a club pro (until discriminated against), a lawyer, a competing amateur (after being granted back her status) and golf course owner.
Vivian readily concedes that her website is actually produced by her cat, Edward Saunders!! I'm serious, but there is a sensible reason for that.
