With one round to go, Australia grabbed a share of the lead after the third round of the World Cup of Golf at Mission Hills Country Club at Shenzen on Saturday as Spain faltered. Spain's Miguel Angel Jimenez and Pablo Larrazabal had a four-shot advantage at the start of play but carded 67 to join Australia at 22-under.

Defending champions Scotland, hosts China and another 26 nations and regions have been competing in the 54th World Cup Mission Hills Golf Club in China.

Australia pulled even with Spain on the 15th with an eagle but dropped behind by one soon after. Then in dramatic fashion in front of a large gallery on the 18th, Australian team member Brendan Jones holed a birdie putt on the last to ensure Australia took a share of the lead alongside Spain going into the final round.
