I posted one of these months ago but with the new rules and all it seems fitting to start over, so here you go...

Date: Wednesday June 22
Time: 10am
Location: TPC Las Vegas
Witnesses to the carnage: mrhicksta and dleavitt

Tale Of The Tape
- I don't know what VegasMav's cap is these days. I'm an 11.8 playing more like a 17 or 18.
- We are playing in Vegas Mav's home town.
- I have played the TPC course 3 times.
- We played this course together last summer and the outcome was pretty tight.
- A wild card factor in VM's favor is that I'll be gaming 5 new to me clubs for this battle - my 3w and wedges

Fairway Wood: Callaway Alpha 816
Irons: Hogan PTx, 21*-45* w/ Recoil Shafts
Wedges: Hogan TK15's, 49*-61*
Putter: Cleveland 2135
Balls: Probably Z Stars until I lose them all, then PV1x
15th / Desert Club: TM Speedblade 6i

Driver: TM Aeroburner
Fairway Wood: Callaway BB Mini
Irons: Srixon Z545
Wedges: Cleveland RTX 2.0, 52/56/60
Putter: Cure Rx2
Balls: Bridgestone 330RX
15th / Desert Club: He doesn't suck so he doesn't need one???

I propose match play with no pops. I'll let VegasMav propose the stakes.

Yeah buddy, I've got ringside seats for this one! I'm not going to make a pick, but I will be providing updates for those who are following along :D
 
This will be a good one and I love that course. Got to go with T4K on this one.
 
VegasMav on his turf - will be a solid match, the local pulls it out at the end, 1 up!!

Hard to pass on home field/course advantage so vegasmav gets my vote. I know t4k will battle the whole way

What's that saying "It's on like DONKEY KONG!"

My handicap, besides cigars, is currently 11.3. Like Frank said, the last time we played this course, it was a good battle. I'm hoping my few weeks of layoff doesn't cramp my game. Going to warmup before Wednesday.

I'm okay with match play and no pops. We're both even. We'll discuss the stakes at the course. Looking forward to hitting the links with some great THPers.

Bring it Frank...and leave your golf clubs behind.

The weather is heating up. Summer is here and temps should be about 103° at tee time. I hope Frank doesn't melt on the first tee.
 
I'm playing 18 with the wife early tomorrow morning. I need to train for the heat :)
