Looking to get some feedback on the following questions.
What ball are you playing right now?
How did you select it?
What results are you seeing?

Hopefully this doesn't duplicate another thread.

I'm currently playing the 2016 Callaway Chrome Soft Truvis (Yellow and Black).
I chose it based on a combination of the soft feel due to the low compression, greenside spin and price.
They're long off the tee and spin really well off my MD3 wedges greenside. I can pitch in lower shots and stop earlier than other balls I've played.

Newest iteration of the Bridgestone B330-S.

I was fit to it, as well as the B330, but have gone with the S because of the action I get from it into greens.

Playing mostly prov1 and 1x. Was one of the first balls I played consistently when I was starting to take the game seriously.

Bridgestone e7, b330-rx and rxs have all be main gamers over the last several years thanks to in person ball fittings. I have used this ball to base other testing around and choose balls to compare to. If a ball is equal to it or better then it gets time in the bag

Same ball, similar reasons.
I've been fit into the B330 before, but I liked the feel of the B330-S more. I tend to be on the lower end of their recommended swing speed for the B330 series, and one of their ball fitters on the phone suggested the B330-S over the B330 based on past fitting numbers he had on file.

Right now, the Snell MTB.

The first version of the Taylormade Tour Preferred X. I have some left over, eventually I'll get to the latest model tour preferred x because I have 5 dozen of those too. I picked it because I loved the Lethal and progressed to this. For me this ball gets a little more distance than Lethal but maintains the greenside spin and control I want.

I'm thinking about buying a dozen and seeing how I like it. I've got no complaints with my CS, but the hype on the B330-S is pulling me in.

Out of curiosity, where does it sit on feel relative to other low compression golf balls? Also, is it something you're testing or is that your go to?
I've heard great things about Snell, but don't know anyone who plays them.

What ball are you playing right now? Primarily Snell MTB with a sprinkle of 17 Z-Star and V1x
How did you select it? Picked up a dozen prior to Kickoff Classic and have been using ever since
What results are you seeing? Virtually interchangeable with other tour level balls performance wise.

Another vote for the Snell MTB. Very impressive at that price point.

Exactly. Next closest is Z-Star at $39.99.

It feels great. Soft enough to have that feel I prefer and firm enough to not lose speed.

I previously played 2016 chrome soft truvis, both black and yellow and pink and white. Loved the feel off the irons and short game and putting - never enamored with it off of the tee.

I tried the srixon zstar and I'm going to move to that. I like the feel, think it's comparable with the CS, and it's way straighter off of the tee for me. Could just be mental, but I felt like it really did the trick for me

Play the Q-Star normally but have been playing the Z-Star bc of the price of the trial packs. I was one of the testers of the XVs but liked the regular Z-Star especially for the price. Want to get my hands on the Q-Star Tour bc of the added greensside spin.

I chose the Q-Star bc of low compression off the tee with the ability to bite around the greens, along with the price. I am able to hit the Q-Star straight off the tee with a small fade which has not been normal for me and get the bite around the greens that I like. I want more around the greens, which is why I've been snagging up the Z trial packs whenever I see them. Got 2 more today. But I if I was a betting man, then I know that I will probably fall more in love once I get a hold of the Q-Star Tour bc it's the best of both worlds seems like with a cheaper price.

I've played the ProV1x for many years. I can't say why I picked it, but most likely because it's a premium golf ball.

I picked up a sleeve of the 2017 X's this past week and played with them a little bit. The new 2017 seems like a very straight golf ball. Very controllable.

For anyone curious, this is from a Titleist rep:

2017 Pro V1

1. Soft Compression to retain the VERY SOFT feel of the Pro V1.
2. MORE BALL SPEED FOR LONGER DISTANCE!! Distance of the V & X is now about the same. (Game Changer)
3. Now lower spinning and similar spin to X in driver (still high enough for great short game control). More ball speed + lower spin=LONGER DISTANCE!
4. Slightly higher flight than previous Pro V1.
5. Improved Flight Consistency.

2017 Pro V1X

1. New Spherically-Tiled 328 Tetrahedral Dimple Design.
2. New dimples have given ball slightly lower flight compared to previous X. (If observable. For many, it is not.)
3. New dimples have also improved the flight consistency (smaller window).
4. Feel--Same
5. Spin--Same

In the past year I have been playing B330-RX as well as Titleist NXT Tours. Looking forward to testing the new Srixon Q-Star Tours

Right now, the Snell MTB.

Out of curiosity, did the Snell MTB beat out the Honma TW-G6 for your current game? I have spent only a limited amount of time with the MTB and I am curious as to how they compare side to side.

B330rx. Picked up a sleeve to compare them to the Chromesoft I was playing and just liked them a lot, plus the buy2 get 1 deal was hard to pass up.

Right now, I have been playing the B330- S, Honma TW-G6 and the Pro V1x in my rounds lately. As it is getting warmer, I really need to settle on one ball going forward.

Currently playing Chrome Softs, only because I won an abundance of them last year. I love the soft feel of it and like you said, they're great around the greens.

The only downfall of this is that I want to try new balls to find out if something fits me better, but I can never bring myself to buy any since I have Chrome Softs.

I have both orange Bridgestone e6's and previous gen b330s in my bag. I love the color of the orange e6 and have no complaints about them off the tee or on full shots. On partial wedge and chip shots I prefer the spin of the b330s. Soft greens or practice round I'll usually game the e6. Hard fast greens the b330s is my go to.

Hi
I'm using the same ball, but I'm not sure if its the best choice.
I prefer ProV1x, played for many years and I have to say that is my first choice, but it's up to player. Everyone have different basta live casino opinion.

I'm in the same situation. I've got four boxes at home. I am definitely leaning toward trying the B330 series again. It's been a few years and my swing has gotten better so I think it's time. Oh and they come in yellow. Lol
Still, the CS is a great ball.
