With the elliptical orbit, the full moon will be it's biggest and brightest of the year. Enjoy!
 
Not here in Arizona, stupid cloud cover.......
 
I was just driving home from the grocery and I said to myself that that was the brightest full moon I have ever seen.
 
The moon is beautiful tonight, JB took some shots with the new camera. Unfortunately, it just looked like a white spot on a black canvas, it didn't capture the true beauty of it.

overexposed, yup. did you shoot in automatic settings mode? try going into aperture mode(tripod helps!) and manually try different aperture settings. i took this a few months ago.

Couldn't agree more, GolferGal. But, worth a shot!

NVM - was that digital? I knew how to do that on old manual cameras, but not these newfangled ones.
 
It was in manual mode, but it was too cold to stay out and worry about it. Thanks Mike, I will get a better shot.
 
It is 52 and I was in shorts and a tee shirt.
