We were underwhelmed with most restaurants on the riverwalk, but the Esquire Tavern was pretty cool. Good food and cool atmosphere.

Esquire is the only place within a mile of the riverwalk worth popping your head into. But even then, only for the drinks. I liked to refer to it as the home of the slowest old fashioned ever made.

I sat there once, parched, watching the hipster bartender make my drink for over 8 minutes. It wasn't anything special, but I still like that bar.
