So yesterday my wife brings me a giant cookie as congratulations for making the Grandaddy team.
What is your go go to or favorite dessert?
I am a huge pumpkin pie fan!!! Anytime of the year I will eat it.

it's so hard to pick a favorite, but i'll probably go with cookie dough ice cream

but i do love a lot of pies. i'm not a huge cake person, though.

To the op, cookie cake is actually very high on my list!! Plus your wife is awesome.

Banana pudding is a favorite of mine but tiramisu is also one I always go for when I see it on a menu.

Sticky toffee pudding, when it's right. When it's wrong though, it's horrible.

Cake in general though is always a safe bet for me.
 
I rarely eat sweets or dessert, but I am a sucker for a homemade Pineapple Upside Down Cake....Strawberry Cheesecake is a close second.

Guinness cake with cream cheese frosting - oddly specific but I rarely eat sweets

Cheesecake immediately came to mind, but I love me some warm pecan pie with a little vanilla ice cream.

think the fried pecan pie with ice cream I had at Gus's was about perfect.
 
A warm fudge brownie wins every time. Especially if there is ice cream and caramel or hot fudge as well.
 
I love ice cream. Probably my favorite overall.
 
This is a tough one. I'm tempted to say those Toll House chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches, but I'm not sure those are a dessert so much as just a sweet. So I'll go strawberry shortcake.

Key lime pie with whipped cream. I ate a lot of this in South Florida over the years. They actually have a good version of it here in North TX through Kroger.

The only improvement to a "Grandaddy congratulations" cookie cake would be to eat it with some homemade ice cream, which I just made for the 4th!!
 
I've got a really bad sweet tooth, in that I can't say no.

Brownies, cookies, cheesecake, regular cake I don't discriminate but I think my favorite would have to be a DQ Blizzard...
 
BBQ'd pineapple...mmmm....with lots of brown sugar and rum cooked in !
