Isn’t this just one single Starbucks? I cannot imagine the folks at the one nearest me, given its down the street from the police station and there are often cops picking up coffee there and chatting with the manager/baristas.
This strikes me as “whoever was on duty should get fired” and doesn’t deserve national outrage.

Wish we had Costa Coffee here in the states. Got hooked on their bonfire spice coffee last fall.

In the fall and winter months I’m addicted to Wawa’s winter blend. Especially when all sizes are $1. I would go there every morning.
Can't beat that price!
It looks like they released something stating that, no? This just looks really bad on starbucks when they have a store get two African American guys arrested, and then another store turns around and kicks the cops out instead. I avoid starbucks if possible anyway, and this certainly doesn’t help their case.

When Starbucks closed 8000 stores for racial bias training, because of a terrible act everybody was quick to lash out. Yet it was still only a single store. Now it’s something slightly different although very similar and the reasoning is “it’s only one store.”

It took Starbucks until 2019 to ban porn from being viewed in their stores, but 5 minutes to ask police officers to leave because a customer felt uncomfortable?

To me the difference is the people involved were all customers and to ask one customer or group of customers to leave because another doesn’t feel safe is where it went wrong. There was no disorderly conduct. There was no offensive harassment or abuse of power under color of authority. Just people having coffee. Ultimately I think the employee will be fired for having taken the action without permission rather than the previous incident where I do believe Starbucks was at fault for allowing decisions to not be trained for.
I wondered when that would get brought up.
I don’t even like coffee but Wawa is flat out amazing as a convenience store

@tomcat need some advice. Are you seeing anything right now out of TIA that would prevent me from taking off Thursday morning? There is a storm that is possibly developing and I am debating calling AA to see about getting on earlier flight.
