Just seeing this and keeping you both in my thoughts. I’ll share my brother and his wife had something similar happen a few months ago. They had some spots show up on the brain in a very early ultrasound, and Dr. said almost same thing as yours did. Could be a birth defect or could clear up and be nothing. They were worried sick and good news was it ended up clearing up and being nothing. Part of it is that ultrasounds are so much better clarity now then they used to be, so easier to see things that might not be an issue. Hope you and your wife get similar news that my brother got.

Doctor called today and my wife has an appointment Monday at 2:30. He didn't want to wait 2-3 more weeks! Hopefully, we get answers.

Unfortunately, we did not get good news today at the specialist's office. They did another ultrasound and and the fluid had increased dramatically and there was no longer a heartbeat. I appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers and thank y'all so much for your kindness during this hard time.

I am really sorry. My wife had 2 miscarriages before our first child and it can be tough to deal with. Just be there for your wife as she is going to need you. Wishing you and your family all the best.

We've been through miscarriages and the pain is so raw and real. We'll keep you guys in our prayers.

Sorry to hear this news J.B. I've been there and it sucks. Take care of your wife as her hormones will be out of wack for a little bit but don't ignore your own feelings. If you or your wife want to chat with a someone who has been there please message me. My wife and I went thru 8 over a 14 year period. Also- you are experiencing a huge loss. Its OK to be sad and depressed! A lot of men (including me) try to stay strong and pretend that its not a big deal. It is and it doesn't make you less masculine if you're bummed. again- I'm so sorry.
JBC, I can only say that I will continue to keep you and your wife in my prayers and you progress through this troubling time. Faith and prayers my brother. Sending strength for you to be the piller she needs.
